Have never heard of Lord Shiva. Stop watching documentaries about him/ it. There is only ONE Lord. His name is Jesus Christ. :)

You didn't ask any questions, though.
My question would be why are you watching so many documentaries about a false god/demon?

Philippians 4:8 NKJV
[8] Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.

If you read the Torah, it is forbidden to have an interest on any false gods by asking about it.

Shiva is a false god. it is better to read your Bible and watch any Bible related movies, shows and documentary if you are really a Christian.

Being a Christian does not mean i can't do my research because other people will question you about other gods and start a debate with you and when you present facts with biblical truth than you can actually start to make that other people view it in a different way and maybe save them. Just as if someone questions me about pagan holidays i would present facts with biblical scriptures to prove how it is wrong to celebrate these holidays. It all goes hand and hand.

Just like i would be watching many documentaries on the origin of life, ancient aliens and history is that not the point in understanding other viewpoints and see historical facts and information related to it.

You can watch with the eyes of the Holy Spirit to find discernment. It could be called studying with huge eyeglasses.

It was just a question.
And you never did acknowledge the fact that you didn't ask any question.

where exactly does it say "don't ask about it" ?

how are you going to talk meaningfully to a devotee of Shiva if you know nothing at all about Hinduism? or to a Buddhist or a Moslem or even a Mormon, if you are ignorant about what they believe?

how did Paul know the Greeks had an altar to an "unknown god" id he hadn't taken the time to read the inscription on it, or ask someone about what it was?

getting knowledge and understanding isn't the same thing as worshiping false gods.

Yea shiva is one of the godheads of the Hindu mythology. He is the destroyer...some one like hades. but it's not him who is famous for snakes...it's another god of the Godhead by the name vishnu.it is believed that he sleeps on a bed of snakes, it is him that I am doubtful about, as his so-called bed is a snake with seven heads and he sits on seven hills. I somehow feel a coincidence between this snake and this verse
Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

very interesting and informative :) thank you for telling me i will add it to my research studies because it is good to relate to biblical scriptures. This confirms that these false gods and false idols are what Satan uses to control a certain nation or city to keep them in bondage. God bless you.

So how else you to know about anything if you do not research these days when you speak the word of God the people will question where is the facts and how you know that the other gods are false. Using what you obtained can greatly help you win the argument and put the enemies to shame. I met a lot of atheists and people that claimed their lukewarm on everything just to believe in other gods or reincarnation etc.... if i no nothing of what they speak of than i will have nothing to back me up. No one said that i was mixing mythology ,you can call it mythology but other people actually worship these gods in reality. Why you contradicting yourself.....

Amen it is clear that people expects us to be blinded ...that is the point of getting knowledge and understanding. For example would you go somewhere and worship other gods and not knowing that these are false gods . If someone ask you why you don't go to the temple and bow to these gods or give foods etc. When you have clear knowledge and understanding and knowing about their gods in which they serve now you have the perfect moment to preach the gospel and denounce their false gods.

"God chooses specific people he calls none to research pagan ways," this must be a joke. We can research and gain understanding. Just because a Christian research pagans ways with an attempt to not even follow the pagan ways but to gain understanding and knowledge in order to speak against it is that wrong. Just like scientists and archaeologists is it wrong for them to understand the history of a certain place in order to speak about it. What about those who study about fallen angels and the origin of time and space and even those who study about the Eschatology end time events. They will research about other the history and even the culture and traditions of places in order to understand more and how close we is to the end of the age.
