I don't think we saw that one. But, we're already planning to go back! Lake Superior is ALWAYS cold. I don't even suit up when we're by that lake. Just roll up the pant cuffs and wade and skip stones. My favorite falls were:
Rainbow falls, because of how irregular it was and how interesting it was to watch the water. It really doesn't capture well in a picture, but here it is: (again, just stock photos)
Bond Falls was the most impressive:
And...I'm a sucker for getting up really close to moving water. Not the huge ones, though
. So on that note my favorite "interactive" ones were Scott's and Agler:
This was Scott's Falls. You literally could have taken a shower under it. The water came from the spring above it and dropped down 8(ish) feet into a calm pebbled pool. Not much to look at, but great fun to splash around in. My car-mates were not pleased with how wet I got
And Alger Falls:
What you CANNOT see in this common picture of Alger falls is the upper falls. Up a rocky climb on the edges of the falls is a pine-tree forest and another set of falls. No one mentions these and most people seeing these falls barely step out of their car, so they miss out. This was possibly the funnest part of the trip because it included some rock scrambling, crossing the stream on fallen logs, and "exploring" Also, the upper falls were very interesting and unique.
