Actually, this thread has only been around for a relatively short time compared to Streams which has been around for years, Speak Your Mind and Not By Works.

I'm not sure what you have against this fun and amusing thread. The family members there genuinely care about each other in their encouragement and prayer. It is online Christian fellowship at its finest. The members are not virtual but real flesh and blood human beings with their love of God being the glue that binds them together.

I really don't think anyone in the Conversation family is going to abandon the thread just because you say so. I know that I'm not going to.

OK, but please know that what I just posted in that thread about this thread is just poking fun too. I agree about NBW, as not a single opinion or point of view has been changed despite years of bickering and name calling.

i came to CC as a sinless perfectionist

it was through God using many brothers and sisters who showed the characteristics id expect from a genuine believer

constantly debating every belief i thought was biblical

for me to turn back from my false doctrine

go back to God

and pray every night as i reread all the verses i thought i knew so well begging for Him to show me what He wanted me to see


not caring if no one in the world agrees

or if i look like an idiot for pushing a false gospel

or if i am indeed right and need to walk an absolute perfect walk in order to be accepted by Him.....


it took many months .....

many sleepless nights

and many arguments

but God broke me from a works salvation mindset

and revealed to me His grace


since then i have seen the scriptures in a whole new light


verses that confused me before

or verses that seemed to go against others


now all flow in perfect harmony



i joined cc on another account

and i was name calling

falsely accusing

thinking i was speaking to workers of satan justifying sin

only to be met with loving reproof

(not always gentle)

but i believe God brought me here

and i believe if He can use that thread as the first of many dominos to break a man as stubborn as me from a false gospel

He can use it to correct others
