Just had to give glory to God for this.

About 4-5 years ago it was discovered I had occular hypertension.
The pressures in both eyes were double what they should have been and
so I was given eye drops to use twice a day. I was told I would have to use them
for the rest of my life to prevent glaucoma.

I had problems with the eye drops they have various side effects and I've had to
keep swapping them. But I got pretty frustrated with them, they are cold and sting and
there's nothing worse then going to bed nice a sleepy, only to find you are wide awake a few
minutes later due to using the eye drops.

The first lot of eye drops prescribed irritated my eyes, stung and dried out my eye balls.
i had to pry my eyes open each morning.

The second lot were worse than the first with the same side effects.

The third lot were based on beta blockers and were considered an old school remedy
which is no longer recommended. At least my eyes did not sting and feel irritable but the
list of side effects and potential complications was several pages long. Including heart
problems and breathlessness. as the beta blocker builds up in the blood stream.

Anway in Jan 15 I felt that I needed to pray for and expect healing and that there would
no longer be any need to use the eye drops. So I asked a group of friends to pray with me.
At one point a friend said "what eye problem" and I knew exactly what she meant as I
was getting the same thing.

Then in 2015 with the general busyness of life and problems with my aunt, I forgot for
several weeks at a time to use the eye drops or collect prescriptions. During this period
I had 3 normal optician eye tests (they kept mucking up the test) each time the
eye pressure test was normal.

Then in Jan 16 I had an appointment at the eye hospital. I did not tell the
consultant I had not been putting in the eye drops regularly as I knew he would be mad
with me and start accusing me of being irresponsible etc! But I did ask if I could stop
using the drops as a trial and have a follow up eye pressure test. I knew I was healed
but I wanted to prove it medically.

He was very reluctant and told me this kind of problem just doesn't go away. Maybe in
old age it might improve, something to do with eye pressure reducing naturally with
age. But he said I must use the eye drops or risk permanent damage to my sight.

Anyway in the end he agreed to a trial period of 4 months but no longer, he said
he expected the pressures to increase but felt it would help me to see the error of my
ways and convince me the drops were necessary.

Not sure why but the hospital did not recall me back for 6 months, I went back today.

Guess what the pressures are normal and I've been told there is no need to prescribe
any more eye drops. They want to see me back in a years time and if they are still
normal at that time, they may discharge me completely.

How amazing is that.

Na they never do that. Doctors won't ever admit they don't know everything. Let alone
that God is real and can heal. :)

Hi just an update I went for a basic opticians test
last week. My eye pressure in both eyes was 1 point lower than my last
hospital visit in June so it was even better! :)

PTL \O/ GOD is so good.

I too had a battle with my eyes. I had extremely bad headaches. So Dr started me on a strong Med, it helped some but not enough. So Dr told me to double up. So now instead of taking 500mg before bed I was taking 1000mg before bed. I started to feel better. But 10 days later my mom woke me up n upon waking up I quickly realized, I could NOT see. Everything was black. I was scared but didn't want it to show.

Long story short, I was taken to eye specialist, where I was told there was nothing he could do. He said my sight "should" return once the medwas out my system. Had no idea when that would be.

I returned home unable to see anything. I learned to get around inside my home fairly well.

Nine days later. It was Valentines Day. Still unable to see but had a shadow of hope. If the sunlight was very bright I could go to door n see like a shadow of light. May not sound like much. But when u have been in total darkness that's saying a lot.

Anyway mom cooked supper that night. We ate. And add shortly after. My eye sight returned! I was sooooooo happy I was running thru the house screaming I can SEE!!

Now yes I am back in eye glasses, but I CAN SEE PTL.
HOPE u didn't mind me sharing my story. Seems we both have had a miracle. So glad u are doing well.

this is so wonderful to here, Miri -

it also points out in your testimony, that just perhaps, maybe we should not 'trust' to much what
pharmikia is trying to 'sell to us and get us to buy into! or buy out of!...

it is obvious to most of us here that you have extreme Faith and Love for your Saviour:
we believe that He, of course, allows us to make our choices, but in the end, when we serve
and Love Him most, He will 'step-in', and guide our steps when we sometimes err in our
choices when our human frailties over-come us and leave us with questions that we cannot
answer, and so we believe that Jesus is constantly 'testing' our Faith, and so it seems that
you have passed this test at this time, because, there will be many more as we go along
in our purging and learning how to TOTALLY TRUST in our Holy Saviour...
boy, what a journey! using that Faith is always a challenge to our Spirits and Love for Him...

no doctor will ever be our god or his prognosis - some of us already know how Jesus heals,
(when He wants) - and many of us have learned what the 'medical-society' is in business for...$$$...
after all, their caduceus, their 'oath' starts out with, 'I swear by zeus and all the gods'...

we both have learned where to put the Faith that we have been given thus far...

both of us have been through the mill', in one way or the other, and so many times, when we
took control, after what we were TOLD would HAPPEN or what was wrong, we always trusted that
it was our Saviour who was teaching us that we needed Him most of all.
we were either healed or were blessed by our Trust and Listening to Him and then
doing our part...everything always just got 'better', when we did this...

I think medical science has come a long way and it's important to acknowledge that.

But there is also so much medical science does not understand and because of that,
they say you are sick, you won't get better. You must take this or that.
Medics always seem to give you the worst possible scenerio as well.

They use definates like "you will die without this" they never say, "this could go
either way", they never say "we don't know for sure". Often they take away hope
and take away choice by the words they use. Words are powerful, they can tear down
or build up.

I'm not saying they are always wrong, they base their comments on their own
experiences and there are lots of experienced doctors out there. There are also lots
of Christian doctors who I know do actually pray for their patients. We have several at my
church. :)

But by their words doctors can inadvertently change expectations and take away hope.
Thats bad enough for a non Christian as they have no other hope.

But I think for Christians it's important to remember that we have a higher
authority to go to, there is nothing worse than a Christian who has lost hope, especially
if influenced by the words of another. Many forget that, they just listen to the doctor.

I still have great respect for medics and without their work in the natural, many
millions would be dead before their time.

But God can do in the supernatural, what doctors can't do. That's what I prayed for
my aunt and believed for. That where the natural work of the medics came to an end,
that the supernatural work of God would take over.

I think that is what constitutes a miracle. We should expect more miracles. :)
Ive seen such miracles in my own life and several around me. I have to admit
though that those pesky doubts never entirely go away, but God is a patient teacher. :)
