musiclover69... I understand what it is to be married and lonely. I married a Christian man who showed some great qualities, but he has since drifted and I am left in a marriage where we have little or no real prayer or fellowship. It wasn't my fault, and I am a strong enough Christian to not seek my wholeness in another person, but it is still lonely.
I was never lonely when single, I enjoyed the "freedom to serve with undivided devotion", was very active in my church, dedicated to ministry, and had some great friends and prayer partners. Now that I'm married with kids, I have less time and more "troubles in this life" as Paul put it. I had hoped that my husband would be friend and prayer partner, but he is not.
Yes, it is very lonely. Looking for a prayer partner.
