Are you referring to what I said?

God is not the gift of holy spirit. God gives the gift of holy spirit to people when they become born again. Acts 2:38

...or maybe I didn't understand you.
Men wrote the Bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit did not write the Bible. What you have written does not agree with the Bible and how inspiration of the Holy Spirit works.

maybe you need to check your doctrine to see if scripture supports your statements instead of accusing others.
This is a fine statement, jonathan. I would like to see it applied to the things you are trying to teach us.

That is exactly right. They wrote as they were inspired. They were not possessed by God. The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets, not the other way around. Man always has free will unless he is incapacitated or possessed by a demon.

What you have written does not agree with the Bible and how inspiration of the Holy Spirit works.
I believe it does. What Jonathan said in the OP is flat wrong.

How do you believe inspiration of holy spirit works?

if we live in the spirit let us walk in the spirit. you have not lied to me you have lied to the holy spirit.
We, who are in Christ, walk according to the Spirit. (Rom 8:1, 4)

Therefore, "walk in the Spirit" means to "walk (do the things of life) according to the Spirit". (Gal 5:16) He is our Guiide (Joh 16:13). Indeed, let Him guide us. Because, "If we live by the Spirit, seeing that he who sows to the Spirit shall, from the Spirit, reap everlasting life (Gal 6:8) , then let us also walk by the Spirit." (Gal 5:25)

the holy spirit can take over a christian's actions and speech. he can take over their walking and talking. this is a great mystery. we know the holy spirit is in us but only about a hundred people in history know that the holy spirit can take control of someone. the person may never speak again. only the holy spirit speaks. the person will never move again. the holy spirit moves their body. the holy spirit controls the person. the holy spirit owns this person and they are his slave. the holy spirit takes control of their hands and makes them write. the devil hates them the most. the holy spirit dresses them and feeds them and has control of their body. the person is along for the ride. how do i know? because i am the holy spirit. the holy spirit is typing this post.
If this were true, you (Holy Spirit) would tell us Trinity doctrine is gross error.

God will NEVER "take over" a person. (at least not as Johnathon describes it)

Only devil spirits do that.
That was my first thought upon reading the words as well.

Asking for a "spirit" to take over your body, your mind, actions and giving up control and responsibility to that "spirit" is not walking as a child of God but as a spiritual medium and asking for demonic possession.

God can speak through people but they are present and have control of their functions.

The only person who walked in the Holy Spirit 100 percent of the time was Jesus.

Look at the OT prophets there showed times when they reacted as humans and not by the prompting of the Holy Spirit. When David sinned with Babsheba for example.

Even John the Baptist and Peter showed dowbt, John sent his disciples to ask Jesus if He was the ONe or if they should look for another and Peter started sinking in the water because of their doubt.

Some would say that this is before the cruxification, well we can example the letters and how Paul had to correct Peter about eating with Gentiles and other instances that showed that while the Holy Spirit is a guide and comforter. He does not posses and take control of bodies and minds in such a manner. Only demons and devils try and take such control of another.

Johnathon, have you told your wife about this?

I had hoped you were getting better, reading your Bible and walking humbly, not thinking higher of yourself then you ought, that kind of thing....

Philippians 2:3
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

you will be in our prayers.
