I had a song in mind, and checked YouTube to confirm. Glad I didn't post it... it was NOT what I thought! (goes away to wash eyeballs...)

This isn't that one... She Works Hard for the Money... Donna Summer. Still have tons of music in my memory banks, even thought I haven't heard it for decades.

I have long appreciated the words (and title) of this hymn (Words: Anna Coghill, 1864).

Note: i think a RC made the video, but the msg of the song is more important. Here, info from another Work for the night is coming post:

The value of song as a means of education should never be lost sight of. Let there be singing in the home, of songs that are sweet and pure, and there will be fewer words of censure and more of cheerfulness and hope and joy. As a part of religious service, singing is as much an act of worship as is prayer. EGW

And a comment below the vid:

Neneth Marie Aragones5 months ago

This is the tune of this hymn that Im looking. Nowadays, many artists or congregation alters the original tune of the hymns which no longer easy to sing by the whole congregation. I believe worship song should be sung by the whole congregation and not by the few--band singers. We need to be reminded that we come in worship not be entertained by lively or emotional CCM songs but to WORSHIP GOD.

I first heard this in my mother-in law's church, then much later in the church we now go to, in Filipino.
