I have just devised somethng for myself, although most others have probably already thought of this.
Instead of always having to navigate through your "Favorites Bar" after having opened your browser, try this.
- (For example) Open your splash page for CC. Mine is Bible discussion.
- Right click on the URL and select copy.
- Open Word pad to a blank page, or any Word processing program.
- Paste the URL i. I typed CC Forum before the pasted URL for easy reference..
- Now you may save it, naming it link, links or whatever you like, to the desktop or a folder where you keep miscellany..
If you wish, you may add as many of your favorites to this link list as you like, using this Word Pad or Word Processor page as a quick link to your Internet service, where you like, and on what you like. From here you may use your Favorites Bar as usual, but it is kind of nice to have a page offline for going directly to any link you may wish to zoom to. Neat! Right?, Maybe?
