CC Chat and Forums

I received an email today off Robo as Im sure many of you have to. I know many of the reactions off people as I have heard them in chat myself when donations have been asked for. Some are very supportive, others have a total opposite reaction (even though they are very happy to use the site regularly).

Money is always a touchy subject, especially this day and age when we see so many "Christian" people, churches, ministers abusing their position. We also know there are many scammers on the net so for what its worth, here is my perspective on this whole thing. And I hope who ever reads this will also prayerfully think about it.

Those that know me in CC will know how I love to pray for people here. I love to build people up in Christ, encourage them in their walk, challenge with truth if needed because truth sets people free. Many lost and broken people come through CC's doors...world wide....for me this is a beautiful way to "go into all the world and preach the gospel"...........so for those reasons and those reasons alone I support CC. The bible teaches about "sowing into the kingdom of God" and if I see a place where Gods kingdom can grow IN people then I will support it.

If Robo gets blessed in the process...after all, he is the one that works hard to keep this site running....then that's fantastic! Does he use that money wisely? I have no idea, that's between him and God....I am only responsible for keeping my side of the road clean ....and my side is to sow into Gods kingdom....and Ive seen Gods kingdom being built up here in many ways.

Years ago I went to a Christian healing weekend and had an amazing time with God. The people running it did NOT want to charge as it was Gods work but expenses needed paying, the cost to feed everyone, give them a bed for the weekend, heating lighting was roughly £120 a weekend. So they had a hole in the wall when people left. If they genuinely couldn't afford anything then it was free, if they could pay a little to the cost of the weekend they could pay that and others, would pay extra to bless those that couldn't pay. No pressure, totally between them and God.

This site is free, but Robo has to fund it. Please pray about where you sow your "money" in life. Please think about the many that have received help here and those that could in the future.

I don't work here for money, for any other thing, but being blessed, and being a blessing. I've been blessed by other's here, and blessed by the Lord in other ways as well, in a lot of ways. Sow, and you will reap. One thing I just learned, is that greed, is a natural instinct, of insecurity. We want to stash things away, out of fear, or dread. Like children they depend on their parents, any wonder Jesus said, unless ye become as little children, you in no wise, will enter the kingdom of heaven. The people in the Sinai, hide the manna, when they were just to take the day's portion, it turned to worms. There's a reason, to obedience, not to be lifted up in pride, doing our own thing, as followers of Christ, their is more to it, than that. There is no other site that I know of, that you log in and learn, listen, and be loved, as a quest for free. Nothing is free, except salvation given us, reality says, pay for your T.v. bill, water bill, etc. The bible says, give unto every man that asketh thee, if he ask thee go a mile, go twice. Insecurity is just not trusting him. Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Let's just not lay the bible on our laps, but put the word in our heart, putting it on ourselves, is meaningless, and even having it, and not doing, will make one weak, like holding food in your mouth, and not swallowing it, or vomiting it. Believing for every need to be met in my life, and other's.

twofeet posts in forums?!! Really?!

I read RoboOps mail and I totally agree with you. We have a saying over here "a dumb priest never got a parish"! This is a free site, but free sites cost money to run, as much of an oximoran as that might sound! Fair play to him and the other moderators on this site for keeping it going. Love the work that they do.

I prayed about it and God told me to support the site-cuz im here often--where I spend my time is where I want to see the seeds sewn.. So God convinced me to give... I consider this chat site to be my family of GOD so why wouldnt I want to invest in my family? I love you all, and I know that some of us are a little more able to help out than others. DO what you can and God will bless you back 10x.... GBU my family. TRACEE
