Isn't it funny how so many guys can work a 16-button apparatus to get to the 32nd level of the latest mass-media video game...

But can't manage the "on/off" switch on the most basic vacuum cleaner??? :)

Why is it that some guys can completely gut and revamp an engine, making it 20 times more powerful... but yet that toilet seat remains standing at attention?

And why do guys have an obsession with wanting women to serve them sandwiches... But then can't seem to muster the strength to wash, dry, and put away the plate??? (I'm willing to compromise if he offers to buy all the paper plates and plastic cups and cutlery.)

Yes, I'm having a bit of fun here. And kudos to all you guys who DO clean carpets, maintain bathrooms, and actually wash (and put away) the dishes.

*Don't tell the guys, but I'm actually hoping for a bit of reverse psychology here--I figure if we tell the men they "can't" or "don't" do something, we're going to see lots of posted photos of our CC gentlemen doing these very things as a way of protesting!!*

Real men, doing real housework? Hey, what can I say, dreams die hard. :)

Actually......as your topic said....we "Can't" do it....it's not our fault......why are we still getting so much drama over it when it's already established that we can't? I wouldn't ask you to compose a symphony for me if you couldn't do it.....how come we are not extended the same courtesy? *Long Sigh* :(

WOOOOOHOOOOOOO
Reminds me of an embroidered pillowcase my grandmother made. Show the heads of 3 different men... 1 young with a full head of hair, one with a thick mustache and barely any grey hair, and 1 middle aged man with a thick head of graying hair. The caption: Women love the simpler things in life... Men.

We know women love doing those things so we give them more to do. You're welcome.

I agree.

I wouldn't ask a non-musical girl to jump up and compose a symphony...
why should she expect me to understand that insanely complicated toilet seat thing?

Um... Ever had a kidney stone? They say that's the closest a man will ever come to experiencing a woman's physical pain during childbirth. So we LIKE putting your toilet seat down, washing your dishes, and vacuuming the floor when we have been on our feet all day already? You aren't married for sure. lol I'm 6 months pregnant and already don't like being on my feet long enough to turn out a meal. What makes you think I want to pick up after a grown man who has the cheek to say we LIKE doing more?

Maybe next time when you go in and find the toilet seat taped down you will figure it out. Yes, I've done it.

Hmmm... tape down the toilet seat.

I believe that was the "unpardonable sin" I read about somewhere.

In addition to my original protest, I'd like to add that I don't see much reason to dry and put dishes away. I just wash them and leave them in the dish drain to use tomorrow. See how clever I am?

lol Whatever could you mean. Do tell please, cause I'm a very literal person and almost started spouting off what the unpardonable sin in the BIBLE is.

I think this post says it all. Men are good people. They just don't know how to do things.
