I tried ginger/lemon tea with honey for a cold but I found that it made me sleepy also at night time. I posted it on facebook that something was making me sleep early in the evening and one of my online friends told me it was the ginger.
My sister said that may be what was making her feel lethargic as she took ginger pills so she quit and sure enough the problem went away.
My sleep was good and comfortable though.

ginger helps with nervousness and upset stomach. i keep some with me at all times. i drink it when im sick or feeling anxious. it also thins the blood.
