    Loss of salvation???

Charging the subject just for edification purposes of course but have you noticed that 1Cor 3:1-3 that you quote describes them as carnal when they strive between each other over whether Paul, Apollos, or Peter is the better teacher? It does not say drunkards are carnal Christians. Then when...

    Gift of Tongues

Are you asking for medical documented proof that believers have laid hand on sick people and they were healed after this statement was made? I am assuming that you believe the scripture accounts in Acts? So are you asking for proof that it continued happening after that. I assume that you...

    Gift of Tongues

Yes. When you baptized in the Holy Spirit you will speak in tongues. Then you can speak in tongues whenever you want. You do the speaking, it is your tongue, the Spirit gives the utterance. Do not think that you must be in some kind of "out of control" emotional state to speak in tongues...

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

It sounds like you are thinking that the Great Tribulation is all about the antichrist. It is much more. There are many judgments from God and these are all how the "Threshing" of the field is carried out. The symbolism of an angel thrusting a threshing instrument into a field is not what the...

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

That Wicked is only one of the judgments. The entire series is the Threshing, and the dispossesing of the earth of its unlawful inhabitants in anticipation of handing it to the saints. There are several threshings. They are all from the Lamb.

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

I am not sure what you mean. It is not satan that brings judgment during the Great Tribulation but God himself or you could even say the Lamb. That satan and the antichrist is one of the things God uses to judge people is true but God gets all the glory for the threshing of the wicked not satan.

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

If in explaining it he mentions angels threshing, and these angels threshing are mentioned in Rev as part of that time of the wrath being poured out (Great Tribulation) then there is every reason to think that this addresses that same time period.

    Septuagint

Google that question. Apparantely there arevquite a lot of copies and manuscripts from the LXX. As to Matthew being originally written in Hebrew. Papias (125-150AD) mentioned it. However when he said it, the greek version was what was known and read by the church and no one but him ever knew...

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

It is a parable of an agricultural project known to the hearers. One must imagine the actual farming task first to apply the message. Don't let the wheat be harmed by the gathering of the tares until the wheat has finished growing. Then separate the two by gathering the tares into bundles to...

    Septuagint

Jesus quoted from the LXX and read from it when he went into the Synagague in Nazareth. When Jesus quoted from the LXX which is known to be what was read in the 1st century Synagagues and called it "The Word of God" that tells us that a translation can be the Word of God. If you insist on...

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

If one sees it as support for post trib then they must interpret it as a promise to protect the saints while the wicked are being burned. Which is not really true to the agricultural illustration. I assume that the wheat is gathered into barns before they ignite the bundles of tares. It is a...

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

Also, your idea that the second coming cannot have two stages is not valid, the prophesies about his first coming were often mixed with prophesies about the second coming and we now know that the coming of the Messaiah and the Kingdom of God had at least two stages to it.

The rapture? The comimg of Christ.

"Exposed?" I am not sure what you mean by that. There are plenty of good authors who are well educated in all the interpretations of prophesy scriptures in the past 500 years that have present their case using the rules of heremeneutics for their views on pre-tribulation rapture...

What is the point in being a prophet?

Because we will not need the gifts of the Spirit that operate in the assembly like tongues, and prophesy in our perfect state of full knowledge. Today we sometimes need a confirmation or exhortation, edification, edification that comes from these gifts, but then we will have graduated to a more...

What is the point in being a prophet?

The rule of hermeneutics of the immediate context speaks of "that which is perfect" is when he sees face to face. 12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. So taking this into consideration the author is...
