I think they (ministers) do support marriages when they officiate at weddings though. But they probably stay out of the courtship stages. I do know some churches do what they call pre-marital counselling. But thats only for engaged couples.

Don't assume people are healthy ALL the time. Everyone can fall sick once in a while, also, when people age, menopause happens. Its just not easy for women after this. That's why some women need to take hormones.

Consent needs to be on both sides, that's why it's taught to adolescents these days. Before in the bad old days, people were clueless about it and thought it had to happen even if they didn't want it to.
yea it's a bit worrying, though I understand sex-less marriages AFTER you've had children. You'd be like, it's so exhausting, I don't want to be doing that again. But we share a house, so it's just easier to stay.
