the dow had been gaining about a 100 points a week for about 35 months. 32,000 in early 2022, 48,000 about 3 months ago. so, that was not going to continue, tariffs or not.

the stock market has been overinflated for a while. a correction has been a long time coming. so, while the anti-trumpers are yelling about the tariffs crashing the economy, in reality, the dow jones had been going up pretty steady up for almost 3 years. a downturn was unavoidable.

well, i have been since 2011, i think, and have never thought about leaving. but, some might feel lead to move on, or decide to leave or cut back on social media, or just stop enjoying it....

you might have missed this, but about 6 weeks ago, china " discovered" a new bat corona virus that they say can jump to humans.. could that be the cause of this??

she basically won a contest to get the nomination to run in her district, as far as why she keeps getting "re-elected" , i refer anyone to nancy pelosi and maxine waters. they have been " winning" elections for decades , somehow..:unsure:

yep, here in georgia, getting rid of state income tax was one of the big promises about getting the lottery. and, yet, over 30 years later, we still have state income tax
