    I've been there. The Lord has helped me a lot in attempting to be too acerbic. I was rude and hypocritical, and Love is not rude. But I would not be able to do anything about this if I were not freed from sin as Romans 6 describes - as Jesus says, the man who practices sin is a slave to sin. If your conscious is convicting you, I will pray, but if one needs freedom the answer is dying to sin as Romans 6 describes.

    My consciousness is convicting me. Every night, I pray to become less judgemental. It is working, but sometimes I still hurt people or say stuff I shouldn't about others.

    Well good news is there is forgiveness through the name of Jesus Christ for those who believe in Him.

    I'd recommend reflecting on Romans 6 and if you have sins that you should have been freed from after dying into Jesus' death via baptism. Peter uses "repent and be baptized" conjunctively in Acts 2 and I believe real repentance is key alongside baptism. If you don't, then resist, because you have been freed.
