I think that we must check oursleves first before we check the spiritual state of others but yes one person can make the difference the issue is when we ourselves are spiritually dry without even realizing it

The kingdom of God is not merely a physical thing that will one day arrive it is also the body of Christ and the gospel of salvation so in this way yes it is always near but the actual kingdom is not yet here until all is said and done

My guilt and shame is actually not conviction it is more like I beat myself up for every little mistake or sin it isn't the good kind of guilt it just makes me feel unworthy and filthy then to kind of punish myself I beat myself up aboiut it I need to learn how to deal with guilt in a healthy way

Yes that makes sense and honestly we ave to consider who the proof is actually for and what the word of God says about it. I never saw a verse that says the proof is for unbelievers or the unregenerated

I think if one has genuine faith then yes it would have proof of some kind merely in the words we speak show the state and condition of our hearts so in this way alone one could know the proof

No that isn't what I am saying what I am saying is that the condition of the heart or soil in this case was the deciding factor in which the seed planted would prosper. We ourselves as the soil must be ready and able to recieve otherwise it falls on soil and sprouts quickly but soon shrivels up...

Except in the parable Jesus told he never mentioned the planter of the seeds doing anything to the soil so in this instance the soil was the main factor because some fell on good soil others did not, just going ty the parable the soil was the deciding factor of the seeds being able to grow

Well the thing is the gardener can plant the seeds yes but the soil has to be able to recieve it so in this way the soil is the deciding factor When you are growing crops the soil is a major factor
