    I am still bleeding over libelous lips that accused my character months ago. We need functioning shepherds on here, and accountability that people aren't allowed to make baseless accusations.

    I hope I'm not sorry for trying this again. I still don't have full peace about the devastating incident that drove me away, but God made me a voice and it is also a heavy burden not to have enough places to exercise my gifts.

    Praying for repentance, eventual restoration, and for myself, a heart in-line with God's about it all.

    God has not given you a spirit of timidity, so do not let what anyone has done to you cause whatever gift God has given you to lie dormant.

    Following a painful incident I haven't been around for a few weeks and I don't know how much I will be around going forward. At least I finally had the time and inner peace sufficient to face things here but it reminds me why the internet is not the best form for community or communication, and I think CC does about as good of a job as any. Basically the whole cyber experience confuses God's design for His church.

    Ballaurena, often in this life Christians are dealt a hard hand. When I was younger I always imagined people as chickens they always pick on the one that sticks out. God calls us a peculiar people becuase others with the spirit of antichrist find us odd. But God loves us what does it matters what others think?

    Hello. I strangely can't write more than one character per line.

    Anyway, kind of cool. In elementary school I was always a lonely kid who didn't even have any other names listed for my birth month as written around the room, so I am glad for the company in June

    Ok, I am back in town, but been pretty overwhelmed. Spent all of last Sunday night in the ER with my mom. Thanks to God she will be OK, though it's been a rough week.

    Why is my spiritual status listed as 'unsure' as opposed to 'Christian?' Am I a follower of Christ? Absolutely. Am I a Christian? That depends on your definition since I follow Christ not Christendom, and the longer I follow him, the more the two diverge.

    1) Why my unsure status? The term has become varied in its definitions. Is it someone who goes to church, believes certain doctrines, is pursuing God, or who has Holy Spirit?

    2) Because God is doing new things and this goes beyond Christianity as it has been known, just like Christianity went past Judaism as it had been known. If that sounds heretical, that is why I can't comfortably call myself a Christian any more

    You have no reason to worry about me. I know the Lord Jesus very well, but the term 'Christian' has come to mean 'follower of Christiandom' rather than 'follower of Christ.'

    There is more to my response than that, in that in following Christ, God has taken me to some pretty surprising places. But I'm not willing to get into that right now. Rather I will invoke what the disciples said in Acts 5:29.

    I understand what you say here and I've heard people say the trust in Christ alone but then they aren't Christian. I think you might be saying that maybe from your experience or something else Christians seem to put the fact that they ARE Christians and that they are part of the Christian faith above God, is this correct? Or is it something different?
