As a 15 year old paperboy well into Beatle culture I remember delivering a paper carrying Lennon's remark that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. It was in a single column on the left.
But the splash was a photo of the 1,000s responding to an altar call at Billy Graham's crusade at Wembley with the banner "Billy does it again"
This deeply impacted me.
