Trip down the Alaska highway in January 2011. The cold weather hit and I said, "I'm outta here!" This was taken in a very remote mountain pass in Canada that looks like the moon. Can't think of it off hand.

It really is an adventure, the highway through B.C. and Yukon, so remote, sometimes 300 miles to the next gas station, and the remote Kluane Lake in Yukon, is huge!
can be scary though. in B.C., it was snowing so hard at night, I couldnt see 10 feet in front of my car, and there were moose all over and buffalo? I was stressed out of my mind and glad to get to a hotel.
