That's not right. God said to pray continuously and to trust Him with all of our heart. The bible also says to cast your burdens on the Lord (to lean on Him) and that He will hold us up with his hand when we are weak.
Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
