I'm originally from LA Ca. We had adult hens that would pick on the chicks so we kept the chicks in a coop and the hens out. we moved 3 weeks ago, gave the hens away and let the chicks and duckling have free reign of the new yard there is one chick the same age who doesn't have the spats/bloomers. I farly certain its a different breed than them. One runs and hides when she sees a human coming just got a pic today. We have 3 teenage girl that take care of them I just have fun taking pictures.
