My dad bought one just like it, wheels, paint top and all in 72. It was the only new car he ever had. He gave it to me about 1988. I re-restored it and gave to my 2nd daughter as a wedding present in 1997. The engine ant tranny were rebuilt 2x each. and the rear axle once. @ paint jobs and 1 re-upholstery. It had over 300K on the odometer. Her husband couldn't handle 400+ horsepower and totaled in '99. Ouch! That was a lot of work gone in a few reckless seconds. He was ok. The frame got bent and cracked. 27 years of TLC gone like the wind. Oh well!
“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal." Matthew 6:19 & 20
