I think one of the reasons the book of revelations seems so unclear so we can't treat salvation like a retirement account and just leave it alone until we think we need it like the guy that buried the gold in Matt. 25 (the parable about separating the goats from the sheep) he only dug it up at the last moment but never used it or gained anything by having it. His lord kicked him out.
So the message is clear. Get ready, stay ready and be ready because nobody knows when the groom will arrive.

Yeah let 'em. If they can't read 'Saved by Grace' beneath my avatar I'll gladly 'splain it to 'em.

IOW; Don't keep our lamp under a basket. Or our treasure hidden in jars of clay.
