I prefer pop/hip hop over the gospel. Mainly because I when I listened to secular music it was pop/hip hop, so it was an easy transition to switch over to Christian music in the same genres.

I do like to listen to some good gospel every now and again like Tye Tribbet, Kirk Franklin, Trin-it-tee, and some classic artist that I can listen to on Pandora.

What do you prefer?

Metal and rock. Also, some hip-hop etc. A bit of pop and gospel are good but they're definitely not my mainstay.

hahaha... Ugly :D always standing out from the crowd!
anyway, I like christian alternative rock and heavy metal rock :)

:D
heavy metal rock? 0.o Is it heavy metal, or rock? *poke.

I have always what band is actual a 'heavy metal' band. Maybe thrash or something, but really people just say metal.

At this point i think of heavy metal as heavier than hair metal, but not quite power metal, bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, whose music and message goes beyond the party, drugs and sex of hair metal, and kick the music up a notch.

That is good to know. Its just that people who use the term classify bands such as: Slipknot, Metallica, Five Finger Death punch, etc., as heavy metal.

Yeah, and people call deathcore death metal, and Zaoman called Impending Doom, doom metal so if we have a scene full of people like him, no wonder people are so confused, hahaha

Hahahah yeah I think i died of laughter when he said that. Not even close to doom. But it is impending hahahahah

Yeah, we can't expect much from a pretty glittery vampire like Edward Jr, err, Zaoman.

You will have to explain this vampirism thing going on, but ok hahah

Sorry everyone for ruining this thread, but we all know metal can play great music. And give a metalhead a acoustic guitar an he/she will knock those simple chords out of the building XP

Zaoman is a pretty, glittery Twilight-esque emo vampire like Edward. What more is there to say?
