I wonder why the framers bothered to institute checks and balances in the US Constitution.

Executive Order abused, and the White House dictating how SCOTUS needs to interpret the Constitution.

Nifty.

I thought the sequester would lay off the Supreme Court.

I guess it doesn't matter that Prop 8 (against gay marriage) passed by an overwhelming majority of the vote.

Starting to feel like Lot... :(
2 Peter 2:7-9 said:
And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds; ) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

this isn't obama's agenda.
he's just a face.

anybody that's in DC is bought and paid for, and blackmailed.
lock stock and barrel.
any whistle-blowers get jail or worse now.

one bird two wings.
the founders told ya....when you see the same agenda advancing regardless of the party in power, you know you're under tyranny.

it a done deal.

it's just the New Soviet.

now it's waves of immigration 'reform' - amnesty - no assimilation - open borders coming in, and soon lock-down.
no going out.

the whole point is complete overthrow of western culture, that's all.
the ends justify the means.

just see how they did it in Russia in 1917.
transfer here.

same money backing it all.
it always was.

Trotskyites. it was always them.
presto.

I have absolutely no issue with this...funny how allwing other people to live their lives in a way that isnt harmful to them or others has no effect on me...

It does but you're just too indoctrinated by the world and reliant on your own "best" thinking to know it. If you read the book, you'd clearly understand why by the end of the first chapter. But, of course, you'll never do that. You'll just continue making false assertions from your self-deceived "best" thinking like you have the entire time I've been here.

Proverbs 14:12 - "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death."

Proverbs 12:15 - "The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice."

It IS ALSO Obama's agenda.

Zone is correct these people are only fronting the "agenda"

Having Obama president allows for those that oppose to be labeled with a "race" card.

People will dismiss those that oppose as being "racist".

This will also allow for those that oppose to be labeled with the "Homophobic" card...

Politics is to appease the public... democracy? earlier i noticed "animal farm" mentioned...

Zone is correct on that point; however, they ALSO act the way they do because they align completely with the homosexual lobby pushing them.

They are neither neutral nor unwilling participants. Just the opposite. ""At a certain point I've just concluded that for me, personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married."

I believe the marriage part is the government giving its approval for homosexuality openly. "legalizing" it according to man.

since many have given in to this temptation and was partaking before this "approval".

It would seem more like a public relation exercise taking place probably a "provocative" move being made like the gun ownership agenda.

The world we live in is love "thyself" if it feels good do it etc...

kids are walking round with yolo clothing which i was informed means "you only live once"

I know from my own experience what type of behaviour comes from that attitude and God be thanked that He put me in my place.

And yet you are trying to force the rules of this book on a people that dont want it and a country that more and more is not wanting to be under it. No one is stopping you from your christianity...stop trying to force others to follow it. And before you say but the government is stopping me or some nonsense...NO you are still allowed to practice your religion, just not shove it down others throats.

I think there's a fine line between being assertive in your belief in what's right and shoving your ideas down someone else's throat. I don't think the intension of either side of the argument is ultimately to force people to do anything, but rather to try and change people's minds about a particular subject. The problem there of course being that once a person has made up their mind about a particular subject it is very difficult to make that person see things from a different perspective, or to admit to flaws in their argument, hence all of the anger and frustration.

no the christian right is literally trying to ban a group of people from ever being allowed to consensually marry the people they love. Most other people ignoring conspiracy theorists are just let these people live their lives they arent hurting anyone. Marriage stopped being solely the province of Christianity once the government got involved anyways.
