Is fellowship possible between Calvinists and Arminians?

That is true. How many true Calvinist are on here? I know of a few. but not many.. And this chat room is far from Calvinistic. Just most of us believe in the eternal security of the soul based on the grace of God.

Was it not said not long ago in this very thread that most calvanists believe anyone who does not believe in osas is arminian? I guess what we see here is most arminians believe anyone who believes in eternal security is calvanist.

yes ive ceased communication with several calvinists because, like their hero John Calvin himself..have a a disdain for all who oppose their sacred cow of divine determinism and double predestination...here especially..thats why i call this site calvinist chat or charismatic chat..because those two groups took pver this site..

You don't realize that you oppose the bible and the Lord Jesus Christ. That is where the disdain is coming from.

I'm talking about divine determinism. I don't know what double pre-destination is. Sounds kind of dumb. Why would you need to be pre-destined twice? Seems like once should be enough...

To me it seems prideful on the behalf of the synergist/free will/Arminian that they would say they stirred up enough goodness in themselves to help God save them. And then, because of these beliefs, they can't believe in the promises of God because their own will can overcome God's will in their heads. What if they stop helping God??? Everything in a Christians Life would seem to be based solely on the will and effort of the Christian himself. I would say the bible is implicitly against this whole line of thought.

I never expected to springboard 7 pages of dialogue. In my personal walk I am surrounded predominately by Armianians, semi-Pelagians, and moderate Calvinists. To be honest I have never studied the man John Calvin and did not come to agreement with Calvinism from study of the man and the doctrines he espoused. It was on study of the scriptures and seeing how Calvinism was consistent with the scriptures. I realize any manmade theological system has a margin of error and at the end of the day I am neither Calvinist nor Reformed but I am Christian in submission to the word of God. There are many Arminians that would consider someone like me an unsaved heretic or at least suggest that I have an insufficient view of the scriptures. This makes fellowship quite impossible a lot of the times seeing as how in their eyes I am still in the world. In all honesty however this sort of view only occurs online. in my personal walk even the radical Arminians I know recognize me as a brother. I\Perhaps it is the lack of personal fellowship or one on one discipleship that occurs online that makes it easy for one to sit behind a keyboard declaring one as saved and unsaved. just an observation

In fact eternal security without fruit in keeping with repentance is no eternal security at all. this results from a watered down ineffective incorrect gospel that leads to altar calls, sinner prayers, and decisions for Christ but does not call the sinner to repentance and trust in Christ. Eternal security without the gospel of Christ is insecure.

You know what is even a better thing to do? Let a calvanist and arminian or anyone else NOT defent their fiath. we do not need to defend anything, if it is truth, God will defend it for us. But let us with open hearts try to figure out what the other truly believes. I think as you hinted at earlier. there are many different types on both sides.. Some diehard, and some more laxed. or however you want to classify it.

I was told today in chat what my problem was, im apparently not asking the HolySpirit

I had a dream the night before this conversation that lead me to this Psalm regarding the Messiah's name.

I will share this dream:

I was stood in front of a stone with something behind me trying to distract me from the stone sayings things to take my attention. the thing was a red/pink type thing who was of fluid type substance that it licked off itself.

The stone i managed to see recorded this name Y &#1497; Shua but the symbol was that of a mark i had seen somewhere and after a while of considering the meaning of the dream and the conversation that took place it came to me where i had seen that symbol in the Bible so i looked it up and found these words written.

The dream did contain the words " you don't change do you" and talk of a church in the past.

When i consider this thread it all is quite true indeed.

I watched this film and do believe the catholic church to not be of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

it is part of the evil agenda indeed.

So the catholic church will play its part then step down for the beast whom they believe to be their own "saviour"

i consider satan to be building himself a temple which is the beast of his "goats" to come in flesh by.

This they believe will defeat the Almighty Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah... of course they do not succeed for we know the Truth and must adhere to that until the end.

That is why they had to infiltrate the Truth.

When they say God and Jesus they refer to their god and their saviour.

It will take much patience and much oil for us to remain Faithful until the end.

My friends when the Almighty is for you nothing will come against you.

Let no one tell you any different to what is written adhere to the word of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

It is our time to seek Him for ourselves and be instructed in Spirit and Truth.

We walk our journey like all those before us did.

We are of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

Now seek the Truth that will set you free, the Truth that shows the darkness for what it is and where it is.

We need not ignite the reformation as such for it played its part to this day.

Now seek the Almighty through Yahshua the Messiah.

The Bible is the Truth, now seek instruction from the Most High let the Holy Spirit guide and comfort you.

If you do not to this day see that the pope and his religion is not against the Truth, then you know not the Truth.

This said there is still much to come to pass before the harvest before the return of the Messiah Yahshua.

I say that our Hearts are known and i witness that it was the name of Jesus i called out to, it was after that through a dream i was lead to use these names to witness the Truth by.

All is well and i look not for a dispute with any on the matter for we each must do as led for we each play our part here.

Hold fast, Peace and Blessings be with you all in the name of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

zone, i stand by all that i wrote, this does not state the only name people are saved by is Yahshua.. quite contrary really that i state the that i called on the name Jesus.

Yes, there is a deception on a mass scale and i know not why i was shown these things and no amount of zone accusations can witness louder than the Spirit.


By the same token as you saying Yahshua and Yahvah are made up names do you speak of the name Jesus which would not of been the name of those in times of past either.
