Is it against god to get a tattoo to show your faith in the lord. Just want yalls opnion.

yeah, I have a tat =] and there is no where in the bible that says you can't get one!

I wanted to get a bible verse on my arm and tattoo the cross on my wrist (thanks to a few pointers. ^_^)

Just a question.... how bad does it hurt?
 
not bad at all for me except for the little part on the back my arm that hurt the most. but it all depends on u and where u get it
 
everybody I've asked said "It hurt so bad!" I didn't know if they were just wimps or if they were really in pain. I'm just kinda freaked. xD
 
when I got my cross tat on my wrist it didnt really hurt much. I think ppl just say its hurts to scare you and make themselves feel cooler! ha ha!

I know a girl who got three crosses tattooed on her wrist. She goes to my church... and she's got an elephant and something else... I don't remember what, though--oh, a dove and and olive branch, I think. Um, yeah. She's what made me want the tattoo.

oh wow, that's really cool... um, I'd get that on my shoulder or my arm somewhere. xD I'm such a noob. I've never gotten a tattoo before, so I'm really... not exp in this? xD
 
lol well I want it somewhere I can see it, and I dont like my arms lol. Im thinking my ankle, I kinda wanted it on my other wrist but I already have one on my wrist so I dont want anymore that are kinda hard to hide. lol its so complicated! ha ha!

yes missy......... i think they'll look even COOLER when your 80... when your skin is all wrinkled and sagging and the tattoo starts to get all droopey........ awesome!
 
hehe they'll be skeerin' the other 80 year olds at the retirement home..........'Does anyone else want that last piece of pie?'.........they look up and see the tats....'Er......no ....no .....you go right ahead......here have our prune juice as well...' :p
 
hahahah see thats why i would never get a tattoo... i dont wanna be scarin the old folks in the nursin home
