I might agree that 85% who "claim" to be saved are not.
And what is sad is that most have a false assurance.
They base their belief in false teachings.

Let's quote this with reference:

This is not a call to water baptism unto salvation. Yes, Paul placed importance in baptism, but this is what he said dare we consider this subject from a systematic vantage:
Ephesians 4:4-6
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
One baptism, not two.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
One will search in vain the concept of water baptism in the above. At the point of faith in the death, burial and resurrection on the third day, one is instantaneously baptized in Holy Spirit unto life and becomes a new creation in Christ through that same Spirit.
Again, Ananias was under the Kingdom Gospel, giving instruction according to that gospel to the one who had not yet received from Christ Jesus the Gospel of Grace. Timing is of the essence in this. So, no. Your failure to rightly divide once again misleads you.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Acts 8, how did they know they were not filled? They didn't hear anything, how did they know they did?
Acts 10:45-46

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Acts 19:6

Paul says when you get the Holy Ghost you will,
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
JESUS says when you get the Holy Ghost you will,
Mark 16:17

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
End result everyone being reborn and being filled with the spirit they spoke in tougues.
JESUS says in John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Need to be baptized to remove our sins also.

We agree with Scripture that says if we say we have no sin we are a liar.
We all sin, correct?
Does all sin lead to a loss of salvation or just certain sins?
I truly pray you are not putting your hope for eternal life on a third party dunking you under water, speaking in tongues and not sinning, which seems you are by what you say.
You probably include me in that 85% who are not saved, because I disagree on all three points as being necessary for salvation and keeping myself saved by what I do or don't do.
After you tell me why you don't like those verses, share ONE or two which will challenge me, ok?

Sin is written about two different ways in the bible
If you asked nearly all christians if you had to be sinless to be saved, they would respond ''No'' for they know they are not without sin(1John1:8)
However, if you asked nearly all christians if you could live a wanton lifestyle of sin they would also respond ''No''(1John3:9)
If you had to get on your knees and repent of every sin you commit you would constantly be on your knees, if we hold the bar not to sin where it is set at

I would say 100% all sins are the same, except blasphemy the Holy Ghost.
Another list of verses that you discard for your pet verses. I don't mind getting wet and I already received water baptism after I believed the gospel and was saved. (Acts 15:7-9; Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) You need to place your faith in the Savior God for salvation and not the water god.
What does Ephesians 2:8-10 say?
The faith I exercise is a gift of God.
Between me and My Lord and Savior.
No third person needed.
My water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit was my first step in obedience.
A sign to all that I have by faith , believed on the name of the only Begotten Son of God for forgiveness of sin and eternal life .
I now strive to live a sinless life, failing each day, to please Him.
Each time I sin, the Holy Spirit that lives with my spirit convicts me and I confess and ask forgiveness.
Not to keep my salvation, but because I am saved and a son of God, by adoption, and joint heir with Jesus.
I like all of those verses. I just don't like your EISEGESIS. You need to properly harmonize scripture with scripture before reaching your conclusion on doctrine.
Key word there is “nearly”. There are some interesting people on just this forum alone that believe we must be perfectly righteous on our own to be part of the body of Christ.
Still choosing to protect your forum membership over providing others with what you believe is truth I see.
