There are so many ''pat statements'' being made in this thread by people that is not their reality.
I grew up with this when I was young

You’re understanding of God’s Sabbath and who He made it for is really an argument with Him. Exo20:11 Isa 56:2 Mark2:27

Sadly, just plain misunderstandings of Paul as we are warned- not even Paul can take away the Blessings and Sanctification of God. Jesus would literally have to die again all over to make your theology work because He ratified His covenant at His cross, nothing can be added or changed. I know we can’t reason together all will get sorted out in God’s time soon enough.

Indeed. I hope your corruption of the Gospel does not disqualify you from being saved by grace—which hope prompts me to ask you bluntly: Do you believe sinners are saved by grace through faith in Christ or by obeying the Sabbath Law?

Obeying God will never disqualify someone one, just our rebellion and disobedience. God said Remember you teach forget, I am sticking with what God said.

I see you avoided answering my question, so I must assume that the reason is because deep down inside you realize that
teaching salvation by obeying the OT law contradicts God saying the NT, the Gospel of salvation via faith in Christ. Thus,
I urge you to amend your opinion to agree with God's NC, because Paul indicated that reversion nullifies conversion (Gal. 1:6-9),
and he said God disqualifies those who reject the Gospel (Rom. 9:1-5, 30-32).

You sound like the zealous Israelites Paul to whom Paul referred in Rom. 10:1-13, 16-21.

I suggest we call them out on it... every single time... and call it what it is. If they are truly saved and have the Holy Spirit within them, their hypocrisy will eventually begin to eat at them. If they aren't, perhaps the conviction of their failure to obey perfectly will draw them to repentance and knowledge of the truth.
@vassal...

With what, specifically, do you disagree?

Do you disagree regarding my suggestion? Or do you disagree with one or both of my assertions?

If the former, then you are saying that I did not make the suggestion... which is silly, because it's there for all to see.

If the latter, you are disagreeing that the Holy Spirit works in both believers and unbelievers... which is silly, because that's what Scripture teaches.

In other words, your disagreement is illogical.

Are you saying we are not keep the 10 Commandments? are these a burden to you? that would be teaching LAWLESNESS.
Don't waste your energy putting words in my mouth.

What does the Scripture say? What did I say that the Scripture says? Why are you still so confused?

So now he's inferring it is easy for him to obey the letter of the TC/they are not a burden
Sigh

you NEVER reply to any of my questions, you dodged it again

How about answering mine, don't dodge:
Is it not a burden to you to obey the letter of the TC?
If you say no, you have problems
But with your views, how can you say yes?

I told you before will not answer your questions and i explained why.!

Maybe just stick to posting on the topics and leave your comments about people out of it?

Maybe you can start actually believing what God says in His Word.

The Lord had some really rude things to say about those that don't accept His Word which is applicable here

You are only looking at part of the pitcure.

I'm discussing the parts of God's Word that are relevant to the conversation.

Sure I could just post a link to the entire Bible - CLICK HERE to read the whole counsel of God.

The bottom line here is the so called sabbatarians seek to keep portions of the old covenant due to their not understanding or outright rejection of the New Covenant especially how the Sabbath has been upgraded in the New Covenant to much more than a one day observance.

The sabbatarians claim those not believing as they do will burnb in hell

SDA Says Sabbath Breakers Will Be DAMNED

I did, hence my effective us of PARAGRAPHS along with everyone else that got past 3rd Grade laughing15.gif

All the more reason I view Paul's concern of his 'thorn in the flesh,' in the extent of asking God to take it away. I'm not sure he'd be as concerned with asking for a more 'perfect' body, I mean.

Paul had failed to understand what all God's Grace provides for the Body of Christ which he learned later as he got rid of that demon sent by satan to cause problems for Paul everywhere he went.

Paul was not like Jesus in that He didn't know everything like Jesus did, so Paul and to grow in understanding like all the rest of us. Those that put Paul on a pedestal making an idol out of him claiming He knows everything and was perfect are in error.

2 Corinthians 11:28
Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Paul was not being obedient to 1 Peter 5:7 or Philippians 4:6 and spent time daily in care (sorrow, worry, fear, anxiety, etc) over the churches he had started or helped start and was ministering to which was an open door to the devil to keep attacking Paul (that was his thorn in the flesh)

1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled

Walking in sorrow, worry, fear, anxiety, etc is sinful behavior because it's NOT walking by faith and such behavior is an open door to the enemy come in and attack. (This is also how the devil was able to attack Job seeing Job tells us he was in fear)

Romans 14:23
Whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Later in life Paul let that care go and he got delivered from his affliction (2 Timothy 3:11) and the last record we have of Paul says NO MAN was forbidding him from preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 28:30,31)

Psalm 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

It seems that you've worked out the thorn in Paul's flesh (no pun intended).

It quite easy to understand where Paul and Job went wrong when one considers the entire Counsel of God

Victory is not about claiming perfection. It is about daily faithfulness, daily trust, and daily obedience before God.

That's laughable. You started the dodging by not responding to the Scripture I presented, but instead challenging me on what I did not say.

Don't expect honesty from them. They begin their doctrine with a lie: "you can obey the law without error".

And on the flip side we have the OSAS people claiming one can live in sin and still be saved as they let their freak flag fly
Who here has claimed that one can live in sin and still be saved?

Oh... right... nobody. You are just blowing the smoke of irrelevance, misrepresentation, and stupidity. Perhaps your "higher gospel" is herbal in nature.
