Carry each others burdens(love them), and so FULFILL the law of Christ Gal6:2
Jesus commands were mainly examples of loving others, hence Paul's words.
Paul did not say look to each and every command of Christ and strive to obey them all.

This is correct and what scripture plainly provides as truth. Peter states it, Paul states it and John states it.

So even though some refuse to give the Apostle Paul authenticity as writing under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we still have 2 other witnesses who were with Jesus in person and establish grace as the precursor to our response. Without God extending grace for salvation through Christ, we would not have salvation.

From my experience and the bible,

By knowing Jesus and spending time with Him, you LOVE Him.

If you really Love someone then it is not a burdensome act to help them and care for them. When you Love your children you will not ignore them and treat them wrong. Love is a very powerfull motivator.

Works are not a hard thing or a burden when you love people.

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

If love motivates your actions, how can you not have fruits and good works that reflect it.

If your faith is growing and your love for God is Growing you can not have no works. If you have no works your faith is dead.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1Co 13:4-8
(LOVE) 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth:......

IF you have love for God it will be seen in your actions. If you have love for your neighbour it will be seen in your works.

GOD IS LOVE.

Life is from God. Everything good is from God.

Do we have a duty to obey God and keep the commandments.
Love God and love our neighbour = keeping the 10 commandments because loving God is...
Exo 20: 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

And loving your neighbour is...
Exo 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 13 Thou shalt not kill. 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

So to LOVE is is obey all 10 of the commandments.

Salvation is a free gift, but you have to continually earn it to keep it.

You cannot earn salvation, NightTwister.

The only real love a person can exude is love IN THE SPIRIT.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is firstly love and that is divine, unconditional love.

Only the Holy Spirit will give birth to that attribute of love within you.

So to LOVE is is obey all 10 of the commandments.

That is the teaching of the traditional church way back around the end of the second century.

One of the original Christian interpretations of the scripture.

They did not read the New Testament because the N.T was not canon until 339 AD.

The Nicene Creed appeared in 325 AD and was an attempt to get a uniformity in doctrine.

Those first three centuries was the wild west in Christianity.

That unfortunately was the era when the ten words were wired into church doctrine.

Though one word will fulfill the entire law and the prophets and that includes the ten words.

Just one word.

1 Jn 1:7

To be cleansed of all sin is not speaking to a superficial covering; it is speaking as making thoroughly clean. You know, like a fuller's soap.

So how do we obey Jesus commands:
Carry each others burdens(love them) and so fulfil the law of Christ Gal6:2
Jesus commands are mainly examples of loving others, hence Paul’s words.
If you love someone enough you will lend to them without expecting anything back
If you love someone enough, you will happily carry a heavy load of theirs not one mile but two
If you loved your enemies enough, you would offer them more than what they stole from you
If you loved the poor, blind, lame and beggars enough, you would invite them home for a meal, rather than friends and family etc
What commands did John not consider burdensome?
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1John3:22&23

The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Gal5:6
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Rom13:9&10
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another John13:34

Such a deep and incredibly destructive theology was the inclusion of the law of Moses.

Into the doctrine of the church and that occurred very early in Christian history.

Acts 20:28-30
Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers,
to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure
savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will
arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them
.

The land shortly after was bathed in heresy and false church letters.

To love God is to understand that we cannot do so which is why He sent Jesus. Try to keep up.
Not because of any boasting or pride or lack of humility am I saying we CAN keep the commandments.

Jesus did not come to half save us.

Justification is only part of the solution.

Sanctification is a continual process and I don't think anyone should claim they have absolute perfection. The saved will be learning for eternity.

Jesus came to save us from sin..
Which means a change in the heart, and a surrender of sin.
Sanctification is possible by Christ Through faith.

faith believes in the power of God to create. It believes Jesus is the creator of the heavens and Earth. It believes that Jesus can create in us a heart.

If we do not believe we will not recieve.

Mat 9:28-29
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

According to your faith...

If you keep saying it isn't possible, it's impossible to obey the law, well you will never have victory. By FAITH in Jesus I do believe in His ability to transform my heart.

Where people cross the line is where they basically teach that faith "is" obedience/works. Roman Catholics for example teach that faith is not simply believing but includes works and that we are saved by faith "infused" with works and then those works become meretorious towards receiving salvation. Works are the fruit, by product and demonstrative evidence of authentic faith (James 2:14-26) but not the very essence of faith and also, not the basis or means by which we obtain salvation. (Romans 4:2-6; Ephesians 2:8,9)

But you cannot know that unless you spend a ridiculous amount of time in the scripture.

You must also reject all traditional theology.

The early church followed a traditional trajectory and fundamentalism did not occur until
very late in Christian history.

Formalization (1919–1920): The term "fundamentalist" was coined around 1920 to describe those
adhering to these doctrines, particularly following the formation of the World's Christian Fundamentals
Association in 1919.

There is a direct association between fundamentalism and public school education.

Before most people could read you had to rely on clerics who could read.

You are a rare person mailmandan.

God is love.

1 John 4:8
The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
God Loves to see us overcoming, to have victory and to obey Him. He provides the means we make the choice.
Sin = death and suffering, and God does not want us to suffer and die.

1Co 15:56-58
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

We must have a different belief about what it means to love the Lord.

Its old covenant to say:
''You must obey the TC:
He has made us competent as ministers of a NEW covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

7 Now if the ministry that brought death, WHICH WAS ENGRAVED IN LETTERS ON STONE, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness 2Cor3:6-9

Its old covenant to look to an external written down law:
This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”[b]
17 Then he adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”[c]
18 And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.
Heb10:16-18

Those who do keep saying ''You must obey the TC''
Those who do look to an external written down law never mention Jesus commands in the gospels, only the TC
A type of old covenant religion

So, my brothers and sisters, you also DIED TO THE LAW through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh,[a] THE SINFULL PASSIONS AROUSED BY THE LAW were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, WE HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM THE LAW so that we serve in the NEW WAY OF THE SPIRIT, AND NOT THE OLD WAY OF THE WRITTEN CODE Rom7:4-6

WHICH LAW is Paul talking about in the above? He goes on to tell us:

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet/ONE OF THE TC.

8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence(confirming verse5). For without the law sin was dead.

9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 7-11

However, many prefer the old way(old covenant) of the written code, rather than the new way of following after the Spirit(new covenant)
As Jesus said:
Many after drinking the old wine don't want the new, for they say: The old is better Luke5:39
