I know I can be saved though his word what you haven't shown is that your understanding of his word is authoritative other than you say so. Again I'm not sure why this is such a problem for you. You refuse to acknowledge this which only makes me less and less likely.to listen you. Your pride is too big for me.
in-correct the power of the gospel can give assurance and save

again this comment doesn't have valid argument to say I have a bad pride. You need proof of that. This is called believing what you want.

Having a good pride is knowing you are doing the will of God. And knowing you have assurance you are a good person by seeking his word gives you further assurance, and gives assurance you are acting in accordance to the fruits,

Like have you been kind today ?

You can't even hear yourself

I've been very kind

If you say so, but I believe your being to kind to the Catholic church that much, that your willfully not seeing your own ignorance, that leads people to follow a works based religion.
Our reformed faith changed persevering in faith to preserved in faith through diligence and respect for Gods children.

Your church has held to there beliefs because of your popes believing what they want.

Not the case at all. I'm absolutely certain Jesus is my savior and I'm absolutely certain I must do my his will but what I'm not certain of is my ability to do that perfectly until i die which is why I work out my salvation with fear and trembling.

Your arrogance is not my sin
so because you don't do his will perfectly does that mean you can't have 100 percent assurance your saved ?

Defense isn't offense. Giving a reason for the hope that is in you is not apologetics.

"Christian apologetics is the theological discipline of providing a reasoned defense and explanation for the truth of the Christian faith, using scripture, logic, and evidence to address objections and present Christianity as a reasonable belief system, rooted in 1 Peter 3:15's call to "always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is in you" with gentleness and respect. It involves defending Christian doctrines, challenging opposing worldviews, and helping believers understand and articulate their faith, rather than seeking personal apologies." [Google]

As I said... that verse isn't Apologetics.

Unlike you I fear and love God enough to no make decisions for him.
You've always said that I don't answer your questions, and here you are answering a question with insecurity.

And so far I have answered you , so now what makes you think I'm picking on you ?

As your response already has been I'm making this all about you.

The question I asked was if you can't do the will of God perfectly does that mean you can't have complete assurance your saved

Must believers engage in apologetics?
I think is a great question. The word of GOD tells us to be "ready" to give an account for the reason for the hope we have.

the word in the Greek is : hetoimos which is to prepare and be ready to take the opportunity to give an answer for your faith. 1Peter 3:15

Wow you don't listen do you? If doing God's will in necessary for salvation (Matt 7:21) and I don't do it then it's either stupid or presumptuous of me to hand complete assurance. If as you say salvation is a gift we didn't earn then we arent entitled to it. I work out my salvation with fear and trembling (Phil 2:12). You have no fear you gave no trembling you has assurance. Are you worthy of the gift of salvation? (Matt 22:11-14)

Thank you for thoughtful response but it fails to answer the question doesn't it? We should be ready but the question is MUST we answer when called upon?

Who said doing Gods will gives complete assurance ?

I asked if you are doing Gods will how long can it be before you can know you have complete assurance,

do you understand the difference ?

Jesus did. Don't you read?

You don't know that's why you work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Again read.

I am absolutely assured, because Jesus said so, that if I do the will of the father I will enter the kingdom of heaven. What I'm not always assured if is my ability to do the father's will. Again unlike you I don't decide for God that I've don't his will.

How can we know

We can't. There are expectations of believers. Belief alone is not sufficient. You only want one half of the equation. Luke 12:48. You people show up say i believe and voila you're saved. That's not only nonsensical it's unbiblical

read 1 John 5 in its entirety and then come back to me.

Dont need to. Nothing in Scripture says faith alone is sufficient. If salvation is assured then it doesn't matter what you do. That's unbiblical.
