She isn't a calvinist and I don't think she thinks salvation is only for some. Why do people keep throwing that term around it is not a term you can just label someone because you disagree with them

Because she jumped in strong when TULIP was exposed, and provided us with pictures and verses in an attempt to put it back up on its pedestal.

The word of God is not poison now are you able to answer my question or not? because if not then why do you reject what Jesus said?

OK...

So here is a classic one for the stubborn nonanalytical literalist.

Jesus said.... (and He did say it).

Matthew 5:29-30

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee:
for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee:
for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish,
and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Of course, it can be explained as to why not to do it.
But Jesus said it.
So explaining it will do not good to change it.

False doctrine created while using the Word of God is poison.

Ah well, you Americans are missing out on so much! ;) :p

It essentially means you don't lose, which ever way you go, as it ends in the same place.

In the context of Thieme's teaching, even though I may gain little to nothing in the Greek exegesis because it goes over my head, I make up for it when he gets to the practical application of the teaching so in the end I lose nothing and fully understand what he is teaching.

So you are unable to answer my question after all, obviously in this passage you presented it is meant to be metaphorical but in the verse I gave it clearly is not it just flies in the face of your belief so you reject it.

Yell me this then what did Jesus mean if it is not to be taken literally? if no one comes to him except the father draws them what did he mean by that?

False doctrine created while using the Word of God is poison.
And yet you are unable to debunk it so if you cannot do that then how is it false doctrine? The truth cannot be debunked period

He was talking about the verse regarding playing with snakes and drinking poison as being for the early Church which, is why he said go ahead and drink poison and find out the hard way it does not apply today.

This here is a great example of why disagreements arise and tempers get frustrated because people misunderstand what is said in the first place or, due to sometimes 24 or more hours between conversations, context gets forgotten.

grace and peace

So then what do you think? if it is not in context as he claims why did Jesus say what he did?

Do know that the story of Adam and Eve is very old, and was handed down by word, from person to person generation to generation before it was recorded.

And, it was the Holy Spirit that had Moses write down the account with Divine accuracy.

Waiting for the application is the prize for your soul.

He told us one day. In effect, he said...

Some of you here get bored hearing my exegesis.
But you got to understand.
There are many pastors who listen to my messages, and I must give justification for how I translated it.

That is why he included it.

I was simply giving an example as to how, just because Jesus said something, does not mean it pertains to today.

So? Are we to speak in tongues today?
After Israel was to be warned by that sign gift up until Jerusalem was demolished in 70AD?

1 Corinthians 14:20-22a
Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants,
but in your thinking be adults.
In the Law it is written:
“With other tongues
and through the lips of foreigners
I will speak to this people,
but even then they will not listen to me,
says the Lord.”
Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers.

Tongues were as a sign to unbelievers!

Like the plagues of Egypt were to be a sign to Pharaoh - who would not believe!

Tongues then ended.
For Jerusalem and the Temple had been destroyed by Titus in 70AD.

“With other tongues
and through the lips of foreigners
I will speak to this people,
but even then they will not listen to me,
says the Lord.”
Shalom.....

I was going back to the original thing he said to you when you queried @HeIsHere reference regarding drinking poison etc. @Genez said it wasn't for the church today, not that it was out of context.

I don't know to what you are referring that he said was out of context.

YES SHE IS, ALONG WITH YOU GUYS.

Why do you try so hard to distance yourselves from the VERY teachings you believe in?

You guys are calvies...And you guys try to separate yourselves from the very teachings you push....... SAD.
more nonsense from you, this is your mask you hide behind to think of yourself more highly like your silly childish crew,

Tulip only ask you to questions your corrupt free will and listen to Gods will really, which is not a big deal for mature Christians,

Many have probably realised i don't think we can exercise free will, even think it's impossible for us to. Won't explain why i think it's an impossiblility for us yet, think it's useful for some to express why they think it exists first.

I have no doubt we have and can make choices throughout life, however, think our options are far more restricted than most realise. What do you think?
I know this much: God judges us as if we had free will.

Yes, she supported tulip, and she also lacked forgiveness, calling me a liar even though I apologized several times for offending her by misunderstanding her (supposedly) as supporting that heresy.

However, I suspect my unforgivable sin was suggesting that she make some pictures illustrating verses that support MFW.
