A closet FWiller or a carefully crafted response so as to preach determinism in the next breath. One eye and 2 mouths....that is the beast of Reformed/calvie/tulip theory.

I know this is a scary proposition for the calvies.......Yes, He is OBLIGATED to save all who believe in Him. He does what He says.

He's obligated to keep his unconditional, unilateral New Covenant promises to Abraham's descendants and, of course, the promises the Lord made to Abraham himself. To the rest of the human race...not so much; for He never made a universal redemptive covenant with the entire human race.

Are you saying regeneration is salvation? If so, you differ from what the others say. They say you have to be regenerated before you can be saved.
Yep that's his belief alright. Consciously following the command to eat the Passover Lamb has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

You deflect from my question. Since YOU do not believe that the grace/power of God has any efficacy to it, then what was ultimate, efficacious mechanism that makes a sinner repent and believe the gospel? Did your dog make you believe the gospel? Your cat? Your pet lizard? Turtle? What?

I do believe grace is powerful and gets done exactly what God wants it to get done. But I waste my breath saying it because you think I'm duplicitous and a liar like my father the devil.

You better hope you are right because you will answer for every word.

This is the last breath I give you.

Goodby Rufus.

May the Lord have mercy on you. :)

You would think the way they describe a dead man means he can't think, can't feel, can't reason, can't discern right or wrong just some form of zombie. ;)

Spiritually, yes! And as you know from the thousands of zombie flicks you have watched over your lifetime, that once someone becomes a zombie, that zombie CANNOT help himself. He can't UNDO what was he has become! In fact, it takes a real person to put the poor zombie out of his misery -- just like it takes a genuine, actual Savior to undo the devastating, destructive and addictive effects that Adam's sin has had on all humanity.

As far as right and wrong are concerned, all mankind has the works of the Law written upon their hearts. Plus man has a conscience, albeit a broken one.

Man's heart is ignorant of the things of God
That too, ignorant and blind Eph 4 18

18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

The word blindness is the grk word pōrōsis :

  1. the covering with a callus
  2. obtrusiveness of mental discernment, dulled perception
  3. the mind of one has been blunted
    1. of stubbornness, obduracy
Its from pōroō

  1. to cover with a thick skin, to harden by covering with a callus
  2. metaph.
    1. to make the heart dull
    2. to grow hard, callous, become dull, lose the power of understanding
So its both, and even more. This is relative to being dead in sin by nature

I do believe grace is powerful and gets done exactly what God wants it to get done.
It saves from dead in sin Eph 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

Do you believe that about Gods grace ?

You should be praying for God's mercy upon you! You're far too proud to admit that you are but a little lost, helpless, weak, frail, vulnerable child before God; yet, it's only humble little children who will enter the kingdom of God per Jesus.

Plus you also don't believe that you're a helpless lost sheep in need of 24/7 shepherding for your spiritual survival. But Christ laid down his life only for his sheep. So, your prideful denial of this truth would also mean that Christ didn't die for you!

From where I sit, you are the one in imminent spiritual danger!

Which is as I said, they must receive knowledge first in order for their understanding to be darkened. If it (the knowledge of truth) is rejected, their hearts are hardened.

Well in that case, then, God obviously WANTS far more people to perish under his grace than he wants to save. God has two purposes for his grace -- "yes" and "no".

What good is knowledge to one incapable of understanding? Did you ever give to your young children the knowledge of Einstein's Theory of Relativity? If they did, did they understand it?

Your Zzzzs (symbolizing sleep) are a metaphor for DEATH, which sounds about right for you since that's the third metaphor you willfully mangle. You're quite the little strikeout artist, aren't you?

Get a clue. Einstein's theory is wrong.

Typical of you. You missed the salient point altogether, preferring to strain at gnats only to choke on a camel. And besides, Einstein's theory is still out thre in the world and is being studied and debated, etc.
