The BIG Question not asked, concerning Genesis 6:1-6?

No they were not, 2 sentences later, the supposed "men of faith who were led by the spirit" were full of evil, so much so that they had to be all wiped out. I explained earlier that this definition of “Sons of God” from Rom. 8:12-17 is based upon sonship through the Holy Spirit, that did NOT exist in the days of Noah.

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. (Gen. 6:5-6)

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” (Rom. 8:15)

What some have yet to learn, is that God has man and angels situated in a battle that has been designed to humiliate the angelic enemies of God. And, the human enemies of God. To bring them to the point were they will have all their excuses for what they had wrongly chosen for their justification and defense, totally obliterated. The Lord has believers who have sound doctrine to be witnesses to the truth. Truth that those fallen angels want to bury.

We got to be sometimes careful....
For fallen angels seek to recruit sympathetic humans to try to counter the true narrative.

Late Dr. Michael Heiser had a book, the Unseen Realm, presented and explained this hidden narrative of "fallen angels/evil spirits" in detail, highly recommended.

You know, in every mythology, there're these half animal half human pagan deities who went out of their pantheons to mate with women and then produced these demigods, those were not purely imagined, they were distant memories of Gen. 6:1-4.

The wording makes no sense, since Seth's line consisted of the children of men.

And, why suddenly the giants appeared?
Wouldn't Seth's line already have been giants if that were the case?
Since when does "breeding" of believers with an unbeliever produce a physically superior offspring?

Your mind is stuck on thinking giants can only mean physical size. Giants in Greek mythology were violent and perverse men who opposed God, but they were not described as super tall
 
There's a mystical narrative behind Gen. 6 - divine beings came down and mated with human women, their capitulation produced the "Nephilim", who were giants and demonic beings, the purpose was to corrupt the messianic bloodline. They did it in form of man, not angels, this much as revealed in later chapters of Genesis, as angels revealed themselves in human form. God flooded the whole earth as a measure of pest control and to preserve the messianic bloodline through Noah.

Yes but this was no honourable mating, they were taking whoever their lustful hearts desired. There is not even a guarantee they were taking only one.

Plus it didn't really answer my question. If they are righteous men why are they dishonouring the "marriage bed" by taking whoever they wanted?
