Exo 19:8-9
8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD. 9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

Exo 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

Did they ? No they failed
Better promises is what we have..
"I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"

Psa 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

Rev 22:14-15
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
These verses reveal God's desire for a deeper, more intimate relationship with His people, where obedience springs from an internal transformation rather than mere external observance.
