note the Hebrew definite prefix 'ha' which, much like the Greek 'ho' grammatically indictates a unique, specific person, not a general 'mankind'

The man of sin who is the antichrist is known as the son of perdition which he is a singular man.

1. The "Man of Sin" in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4:

• The identify of the papacy as the fulfillment of this prophecy, shows that the papal system not only claims divine authority but also attempts to change God's laws, particularly the Sabbath, which aligns with the biblical description of the antichrist power.

2. The Pope as the "Son of Perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3 and John 17:12):

• The title “son of perdition” is applied to the papal system, linking it with the man of sin. • The Application of the 1260 Prophecy: The 1260 years, as mentioned in Daniel and Revelation, as a period of papal supremacy and persecution from 538 AD to 1798 AD. During this period, the papacy wielded political power and was responsible for persecuting those who opposed its authority, fitting the description of the "man of sin" in 2 Thessalonians 2 and the "beast" in Revelation 13. The “man of sin” refers to the papacy because it was a system, not a single individual, that oppressed God’s people and exalted itself above God’s law.

Your " fresh perspective" is but a sympathetic understanding of scripture, to help further the Catholic Church's (Antichrist's) "Counter Reformation" initiated at the Council of Trent, and the formation of the Jesuits Order and their deceptive, anti-Christ "one world religious agendas" ( eg. ecumenism )

This "counter reformation", primarily implemented the "covert" Jesuit military order to initiate & control the worlds learning institutions, (eg. the founding of Harvard Univ., the State of Mary Land, ETC, ETC ) to where most ALL nominal protestant christian churches, now are believing and following the "Dispensationalist" understanding of scripture, that was developed by the Catholic Church as their main agenda for a counter reformation, a "Catholicism 2.0" as it where. Many errors are made in DISCERNING Holy scriptures, by the mere fact of not sticking to the basic root of ‘words’ and also in how ‘words’ are generally defined.

For instance , the word ‘man’ in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is not referring to ONE, SINGULAR ‘MAN”.

This is the definition of ‘man’ in the verse:

and the man ἄνθρωπος (anthrōpos) Strong’s 444. anthrópos

KJV: certain, man

(although the KJV insist it is a certain man, you can wait forever until that certain man arrives, or get on with your spiritual growth and put away all childish things of the carnal mind and look at what all mankind has done to find the face of this; “mankind of sin is revealed, the son of mankind’s perdition”

NASB: man, men, people, man's, human, mankind

444 ánthrōpos – man, the generic term for "mankind"; the human race; people, including women and men (Mt 4:19, 12:12, etc.).

444 (anthrōpos) relates to both genders (male and female) as both are created in the image of God. i.e. mankind in general (inclusive of every man, woman and child; see also 1 Cor 11:7). (435 /anḗr specifically refers to a male and 1135 /gynḗ to a female.)

[444 /ánthrōpos ("man") answers to the Hebrew term, ̓adam – and 435 (anḗr) answers to the Hebrew term ̓ish.

This "counter reformation", primarily implemented the "covert" Jesuit military order to initiate & control the worlds learning institutions, (eg. the founding of Harvard Univ., the State of Mary Land, ETC, ETC ) to where most ALL nominal protestant christian churches, now are believing and following the "Dispensationalist" understanding of scripture, that was developed by the Catholic Church as their main agenda for a counter reformation, a "Catholicism 2.0" as it where. Man's self-righteousness based religion, rather than a Christ's Righteousness belief system. ( but that is more "truth" for another time )

A correct understanding of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17 was fundamental to the Protestant Reformation of the 1500-1600's, and paramount to the Three Angels Message, for this dying World today.

Revelation 14:6-12
6 And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

• The christian world isn't giving glory to God, primarily by believing the Antichrist (Catholicism & Dispensationalism, (&Islam, etc.) rather than believing Jesus, This is understood in the context of the imminent return of Christ, as well as the investigative judgment.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

• ... by following the Catholic churches "untrue & lying" doctrines, ( a man can forgive sin, state of the dead, sanctuary and second coming deceptions, etc) = "her fornication", and by giving the Papacy authority, by keeping her MARK, her false sabbath, rather than God's Sabbath, being HIS mark of authority, as THE CREATOR GOD.

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

• This Warning: (Rev. 14:9-10). This part of the message warns against allegiance to the beast power ( The Papacy ) and the receiving of the mark of the beast, ( Legislation of a Sunday Sabbath law, contrary to God's Law ) which is interpreted by Adventists as the enforcement of Sunday worship in contrast to the biblical Sabbath (Saturday).

11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Hello , I'm genuinely interested in knowing more about the 7th day adventists and their beliefs . Whenever u have the time , could u please summerize them ? All humanity/mankind fell from Grace(forget their first Love) - “son of perdition” - as one embodiment of failure, coming short of the Glory of God.

Scriptures does not state a "son of perdition" remains disobediant, but that seeing what you have become feeds to Spiritual Faith more to REPENT/TURN AWAY that state of dead human flesh - “son of perdition”

ALL Humanity/mankind crucified the Christ of God by their sins. - “son of perdition” - as one embodiment of failure needing to be saved from themselves. Those who SEE their sins as 'the lawless one' are the ones who will be saved and sit on the throne as Chorst and Judge to world of the living and the dead.
