John 3 verse 27~ “A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” John 1 3 verses 12-13~ To all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God - children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God. John 6 3 verse 44~ “No man can come to me except the Father, which hath sent me, draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Romans 9 3 verse 16~ So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. Romans 8 3 verse 16~ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Are you saying you have not seen the many questions I have put to you again and again? Is this another of your pretenses, IF you did not address things I have repeatedly asked about? The lack of honesty you bring to your fantasy desire to discuss Scripture is appalling.

I posted a verse about man's will being enslaved to do the will of the devil and you responded with an image meant to misrepresent.

When are you going to admit that an unregenerated person without the indwelling Holy Spirit of God is a natural man who can neither receive nor comprehend the Spiritual things of God as Scripture plainly states? Neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. When will you stop denying that the gospel is a spiritual matter containing some of the deep things of God? Free willers love to deny that. When are you going to deal with the fact that men have been taken captive to do the will of the devil, which tosses your fantasy of free will out of existence? That the whole world is blinded, that not all are called? I ask you about these things and you REFUSE to deal with them while pretending you want to discuss Scripture. And your contradiction that salvation is available to all, oh, then you say, but not these people because they never had their names written in the Book of Life. Well, there's a start. Surely there's more.

I believe the Scriptures. I believe Satan blinds people according to 2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV, and I believe 2 Timothy 2:26 KJV, which says, “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” These verses are true, and I accept them exactly as they are written.

If you want to ask me something specific about how these passages work within my belief or understanding of Scripture, feel free to ask. Just present the verse and then ask, “What do you think of this?” That is how a real Bible discussion works.

But when you insult me and refuse to stick with Scripture, it becomes difficult to continue the conversation. It also doesn’t help when the text is in purple font, because it’s hard to read. Once you stop hitting me with the verbal stick at every turn, I’ll be more than happy to have a normal, respectful Bible discussion. I only mention certain things you do that gets in the way of that like the strange pictures, etcetera. I see these as distractions.

.....

More of your hypocrisy. Since when is telling you the truth insulting you? You are a hypocrite.

I am simply asking that we stick with the Bible discussion in a kind and respectful way, without the hard-to-read purple fonts, the strange pictures, and the constant insults. Can we please talk about the Scriptures in a normal and polite manner?

Wanting a pure and respectful discussion is not hypocrisy.

I am saying to stick with the Bible discussion alone in a kind and respectful way without any hard to read purple fonts, strange pictures, and insults at every turn. Can we just talk about the Bible please in a normal and polite way?

Desiring this pure kind of discussion is not being hypocritical...
When are you going to stop taking about things not the Bible? Your double standard is revolting.

You are in denial. Typical. You want to talk about other things but claim I should not.

How does this help discussion? Guess what. It doesn't. So stop with your insults.

if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth

But you do not believe that the natural man will not come into the light, hates the light.

You think he has the ability to obey when Scripture says he does not.

While this may not have been your intention, the image of this necklace on this woman is designed with occult-style symbolism. The central blue turquoise stone represents the spiritual core, often associated in occult systems with inner vision, intuition, and psychic receptivity, since blue symbolizes spiritual insight and the element of water. Placed at the center of the chest, it functions as a “heart-of-power,” similar to a displaced third eye or a magical center that signifies hidden wisdom or mystical authority. The seven surrounding stones reflect the common occult use of the number seven, tied to chakras, celestial powers, and esoteric “completion.” The gold branching filigree beneath the main stone resembles a stylized Tree-of-Life or sigil pattern, symbolizing the flow of spiritual energy, while the overall downward-pointing triangle shape reinforces feminine mystical themes and receptivity. The purple backdrop and floral elements further reinforce a New Age or enchanted-priestess aesthetic. Together, the shapes, colors, and arrangement imitate a magical talisman that embodies intuition, spiritual power, and mystical energy according to occult design language.

Well, your intentions don’t change the reality of what is being presented. What matters is what is actually seen and experienced. If the artwork contains imagery that aligns with the occult in any way, I’m not going to be pleased to see it, and I’m going to call it out. You may view it as nothing more than stones or jewelry, but that does not stop witches or the occult from using those same items in specific ways, and many people recognize that these things are associated with them. And again, Scripture makes it clear that a woman’s true beauty is in the inward person, not in outward apparel. The Bible says we are to avoid having any appearance of evil..
Not when they are gemstones arranged in a certain way that imitates the activities of the occult. You may not see a problem with it, but the occult takes these things very seriously. The Bible says we are to avoid having any appearance of evil.
Evidence of your hypocrisy. Don't demand something of me you refuse to do yourself.

I understand you are saying that I went off topic, and I want to be honest about it. I did briefly mention things that get in the way of having a normal Bible discussion, such as hard to read fonts, strange pictures, and constant insults. I also made one quick comment to another believer about food, and that was not directed toward you. Those were only small side chats, and they did not derail the real Bible discussion taking place here.

My goal has always been to keep the focus primarily on the Bible, even if there were a couple of brief side comments along the way. None of that changed the fact that Scripture has been my main focus in this conversation.

The Bible itself tells us how we should communicate. Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” That is why I addressed the things that hinder a meaningful conversation.

Scripture also urges us to avoid unprofitable disputes. Titus 3:9 says, “But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain.” I am simply trying to keep us focused on what is spiritually profitable, which is the Word of God.

Proverbs 15:1 teaches, “A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.” I am trying to follow that truth in the way I respond.

My goal has always been to keep the focus primarily on the Bible, even if there were a couple of quick side chats along the way. Those brief comments do not derail the real Bible discussion that is taking place here, nor do they change the fact that Scripture has been my main focus in this conversation. So, lets talk Bible. If not, may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you.

Your phony smile is creepy.
I did briefly mention things
LOL. You minimize your part and magnify the other. See the post above
yours. LOL @ Brief. You went on and on over a number of posts.
I probably did not even display them all...

But I cannot force you to be honest. That has to come from you. So far? No dice. <= that's a saying.

If you don't understand conversations can be fluid, then it is time to move on.
My primary goal is to talk about the Bible here. But to communicate in side chats is not a complete derailment from that goal. Conversations or words can be imperfect to communicate what we desire.

Yes, I did have a problem with others posting endlessly with no Bible verses in regard to this topic and all they did was heckle or punch random words in a keyboard with no context (where it led different people to ask what they were talking about). This is a far cry to a brief side chat or having a few posts desiring you to discuss on having a normal Bible discussion. The things I mentioned to you were things that got in the way of a normal Bible discussion. If a person complained to me that I was doing something that distracted them from a Bible discussion, I would try to change my tactics, and I would even apologize if I felt it was wrong.

But seeing you are lowering yourself to attack a pic of me in a family photo, the possibility of having a friendly and loving Bible discussion is not possible at this time with you.

Except for the numbering of the Psalms, chapter numbers were not a part of the original Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 3:3 is clearly tied to 1 Corinthians 2:10, and 1 Corinthians 2:14. It all reads together in harmony. All I can do is encourage you to read it several times in prayer and you might see it if you want to be truly unbiased here.
....

It would help if you gave the actual words, rather than simply giving their biblical coordinates.

For example?

For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you,
are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 1 Corinthians 3:3

In essence. In their carnal state, they function just like the natural man. If it becomes habitual?
They can not receive Bible teaching other than the very basic doctrines they had already understood.
They can quote Scripture like any cult can.

They are stuck in growth.
Making them spiritually retarded.

Ever try reasoning with someone who is retarded?
It can be quite daunting.
What they believe, they believe.
And, you are the dumb one for thinking different.

Keep in mind...
God's approval in the evaluation will not be for all believers.
Only those who overcome. They, will be granted to reign with Him.

Non overcomers are saved, and will receive their resurrection body.
No rewards to share in the glory of God.

But, in time?
They are now proving themselves to be untrustworthy with their mishandling of the Word of God.

To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne,
just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Rev 3:21

Some come here to reveal that they have overcome the false teachings that others boast about, even cling to for dear life.

For now. Excuse me.
I have an errand to take care of.

You teaching occult symbolism has more an appearance of evil than an "art" woman wearing a gemstone necklace.

Maybe Bluey is a licensed occult practitioner, which accounts for how he's so knowledgeable (supposedly) on such things.

Perhaps it is because when we or others see this happen He is Glorified. In other words He is revered even more by man.

But He's not revealing one's true desires according to Reformed/Calvin doctrine because you are totally depraved and could never love God of your own free will. He is only revealing His own desire and that is to save some and damn the rest.

One has to be free to reveal oneself and according to you and others here, He has to stop you being you by giving you a brand new nature otherwise you won't ever love Him freely.

Your love is contrived, not freely given.
