I have talked with Calvinists on and off for many years since 2010 on various different Christian forums.
I also looked at their statements on their own websites.
I know about their five TULIPS in their belief system and what they mean.
That is exactly what they believe.
Some may try to hide this from you, but that is really what they believe.
Its insanity. Some may try to slowly trap you into their belief system and then build you up to believing that.
Don't fall for their tricks.

...
I've never ever come a a self confessed Calvinist in England, which I believe is really no different to the USA when it comes to denominations

Not in one single church does anyone call themselves calvinists in England

Where as your precious AI has the leading protestant churches as predominantly Calvinist,

Not true these Churches just preach enabling grace

The only people that do refer to themselves as calvinists or messed or former Calvinists are the messed up people on YouTube.

That's because the doctrine of grace and enabling grace is recognised as being accounted to God not John Calvin.

I am primarily an Arminian when it comes to this topic.
However, I believe Arminianism is incorrect on their point called "Total Depravity" which also is a point in Calvinism.
I believe this point should be replaced with "Partial Depravity."
I believe the Bible teaches there is a partial blindness and depravity in this life for mankind.

It is true that Scripture teaches that people are naturally blinded by Satan so that the light of the gospel does not reach them (2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV). In that state there is none that understand and none that seek after God (Romans 3:11 KJV). We are by nature children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3 KJV).

That said, Scripture also teaches that Jesus draws all men to Himself (John 12:32 KJV) and the Holy Spirit reproves the world of sin (John 16:8 KJV). God can open the heart to understand the message when the gospel is preached (Acts 16:14 KJV). Under this enablement or enlightenment by God, one can either accept the gospel or reject it (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). This is known as Prevenient Grace in Arminianism, but I prefer to called a "Temporary Enablement or Enlightenment," instead.

Scripture then places believing as the response God requires before someone becomes a child of God, receives spiritual life and is sealed by the Holy Spirit (John 1:12 KJV) (John 20:31 KJV) (Ephesians 1:13 KJV). After first being saved by God’s grace through faith without works, God’s grace then teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live righteously in this present world (Titus 2:11-12 KJV). The gospel calls us to the fact that God has chosen you to salvation through the Sanctification of the Spirit and a belief of the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 KJV).

,,,,
another logical fallacy I've never come across a self confessed Arminian person in any church in England either, it's all in your head and AI

@Bible_Highlighter, if Calvinism were true, then even its rejection would be by God’s design/eternal decree, as He decreed those to reject it, thus doing God’s will, making its very defense meaningless.
Well fairytales are often not true. It's not until you grow up do you realise that, obviously this has happend for you yet.

So on what basis do you make the claim that I am gnostic?

You immediately began trying to justify gnostic beliefs that were recorded by a man who is reported to have been a student of a student of the apostle John. So he was very close to the original revelation of Christ, and consequently would know what beliefs deviated from the truth of the gospel. You are defending those beliefs, ergo, you are gnostic. Simple

There's nothing more I can say to you. None of what you posted matters. You're determined to label me and are going to to that no matter what. Grace and Peace.
yep he's goes about in a sneaky way to as the only integrity he has is AI no conscience integrity m 🤐

Who would that be? Whose name did I mention? Did I not ask concerning examples in scripture?

I've been plain concerning my beliefs. Which part of what I have stated is gnostic?

I am still waiting for you to prove you base your beliefs on the Bible, as you claimed.

So far you have not. Lots of eisegesis and opinions. That does not count.

Also majorly concerning that you question God's integrity.
you'll be waiting along time m he believes Thessalonians 2 is something that's God does because he allows bad things to happen all the time giving him premise to choose to be saved when he likes m

Judgement has some what alluded him m ♥️

Against Heresies, the book I derived my list from and linked to, was written by Irenaeus, who is reported to have been a disciple of Polycarp, who was a disciple of the apostle John

Your just another label to them m.
Reasonsing just doesn't compute in the brains of labelers, outside there comfort zone of an inside box they put themselves in.

Once they've labelled you mud sticks to them.

I didn't use his name or ideas. You brought him up. My questions were all concerning biblical examples.

I gave you a specific set of beliefs. If someone believes in salvation that the Spirit changes and opens the heart, is their belief gnostic or not?

That is not the "odro salutis" of the Bible.
Certainly we can see how Augustine is really the source of the doctrine of special "gnosis" which is embedded in TULIP.

LOL @ rants. You simply cannot handle the truth, so as dishonest
as you are, choose to misrepresent. Just like your comrades.
