I have never seen any country that celebrated their defeat in war, we don't celebrate the day we fled Vietnam, we don't celebrate the day Joe Biden Lost our air base in Afghanistan. I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with Christopher Columbus.
It seems to me that the discovery of the New World was a momentous time in human history and should be celebrated. I understand that what many Spaniards, Italians and Europeans did when they got to the new world should not be celebrated, so if you don't want it to be Columbus day that is fine, but the discovery of the new world was every bit as momentous as July 4th and Thanksgiving.
BTW the most horrific event in human history was not the holocaust, it was Noah's flood and many people celebrate that each year. It falls on Halloween, All Saints day and the Day of the dead. Think of how hypocritical some are who claim you should not celebrate Columbus day but they celebrate Halloween.

You apparently do not understand english. He admitted that you believe this, and your post confirms that you do believe this.
The reality is that despite the horrific battles where native Americans were killed, the real killer was disease and that was due to Noah. Because of Noah's flood the native Americans were not familiar with cattle, they didn't have sheep, goats, cows or horses. These herds will have diseases which we call childhood diseases. If you get the disease as a kid it is not a big deal but if you get it as an adult it can be deadly.
In other words if you grow up with the herds as a herder you will be protected by this disease and if you are not familiar with the disease as an adult you are an outsider and the disease protects the herd. This is why the Europeans were successful and spread across the globe. They had oxen to pull their carts for agriculture and they had horses which were the equivalent to a tank right up until WW1. Blaming the Europeans for the killing of the Native Americans is unfair, you should blame Noah's flood.
No big deal. If the Donald doesn't want to recognize it, that's fine by me. Just shows how petty and vindictive he is. I happily recognize it.
