Yes, well, we know from a certain one who likes to huff and puff about how much he understands, that he believes he knows better than Jesus, since he rewrote what Jesus said, claiming it was only those who choose to sin who are slaves to sin, which was not what Jesus said at all. Jesus said, everyone who sins is a slave to sin, and that means everyone because all sin, which is taught numerous places throughout Scripture. He further said that those who choose to sin are only the fools who say in their heart, "there is no God," which means it is only atheists and agnostics etc who choose to sin and he concluded by saying it is only these people who are slaves to sin. In other words, according to him, Jesus was wrong. This is how great he wants us to believe his understanding is...

Jesus was talking directly to His Disciples so why are you including yourself with the Disciples?

Did you become martyrs like them for being called to preach the Gospel?

So according to CV5, Jesus was FORCED to choose his own disciples because they believed Him long before He encountered them. :rolleyes: Not only that but Jesus must have been an egomaniac since He made it a point that He chose them and that they did not choose Him!

Nice twist because I was talking about you before you were saved. You said God couldn't love you. You really are trained to talk in circles. That typically indicates someone who is wrong but refuses to admit it.

See 2Tim 3:16 someday. Also, by you limiting Jesus' words to apply only to his original audience, you have unwittingly proved that Jesus did discriminate among people. He did not treat all equally. He showed favoritism to his disciples.

God loved me IN Christ! God loved me in eternity based solely on the merits of my Federal Head. Can the Father love his appointed Head and not His Body as well? Don't you know that the Head and the Body are ONE!? The Head and Body, therefore, are inseparable!

Yes but Jesus was only talking to His Disciples. I understand that you want to interject yourself into the Bible but most of the time God ain't talking to you and what we read is dealing with the immediate moment at hand.

On the contrary, people themselves discriminated according to their desire/will/volition for or against Jesus and His words.

God Himself shows no partiality.....

Were his "His Disciples" a part of Christ's Body? If so, then by extension, Jesus was addressing all in his Body. Your lame objection seeks to divide the Body of Christ!

Apparently many are called has nothing to do with anyone beyond the first century... according to some.

Nobody has been called or chosen since then... according to them. Not
foreknown, chosen, called out of the world, justified. Certainly not them.

I wonder how many Bodies they think Christ has? :rolleyes: Heck...we have at least one yo-yo here (Genez if memory serves) who unabashedly proclaimed God was never Israel's Husband. Why would God want to divorce them if they were never married? LOL. And all that with Hosea. Poor guy! All for nothing.

All the connections to being faithful as presented in the marriage vows and relationship... just a show, then?
