I just went to their site and they have improved tremendously over the years. I haven't been there in probably 10 + years. I did use them back then but did call them out on things and they've done right. On many controversial issues they've taken the middle-road .g

The word hell is not found in the earliest manuscripts of the bible. It was added, mostly by TRINITARIAN translators. It was, in my view, an attempt to scare people into salvation. Even so, both the NEW and Old Testament word means the GRAVE.

The word means three things.
TARTARUS - A word seldom used to indicate a prison - A PLACE FOR 'FALLEN ANGELS.

SHEOL - Old Testament word for GRAVE. HADES New Testament for grave.

And GEHENNA - a literal garbage dump that's burned. Hell is actually fabricated nonsense.

Yes , the phrase ; for their worm shall not die , neither shall their fire be quenched , is used a lot in the new testament and people interpret this as ' hell ' , a place of eternal torture for sinners to b tortured , physically and mentally , for ever , by some horned beast and his deformed depraved minions . In fact , that phrase is from the very last verse of Isaiah .
Here is the context : Isaiah Ch 66 V 22-24 ;
For as the new heavens and the new earth , which I shall make , shall remain before me , saith the LORD , so shall your seed and your name remain .
And it shall come to pass , that from one new moon to another , and from one sabbath to another , shall all flesh come to worship before me , saith the LORD .
And they shall go forth , and look upon the CARCASSES of the men that have transgressed against me : for their worm shall not die , neither shall their fire be quenched ; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh .
So , we c here that their r humans alive , they r referred to as ' flesh ' . That fire is a body dump that shall b in existence for all to c as a reminder to all of what happens to those who do not accept the Truth . If more people read and studied the Old Testament , they would c and know for sure that the Old contains everything that is needed to illuminate the New .

I did look up the word and the Concordance says:

1a) to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin
1b) render useless
1c) to kill
1d) to declare that one must be put to death
1e) metaph. to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell
1f) to perish, to be lost, ruined, destroyed
2) to destroy
2a) to lose"

(my emphasis).

So it doesn't have to mean annihilation.

Hmmm. I know Jesus was and is my only sacrifice for my sin. I was asking the question about sin and found my answer James 1:15. How sin leads us closer to death. That was my concern. I understand what hell is biblically. It has many names. The pit, eternal darkness,lake of fire. I do believe if we don't repent and we think grace will save us we are dead wrong. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. No excuse at the judgement seat to continue. Faith formula. Admit, repent, receive, believe. Thanks for the advice though.

I'm not sure any of us really know how the judgments will fall. In my heart of hearts, I would find it quite disturbing if a loving God condemned ordinary people to an eternal fiery inferno for living a vapors worth of life. It seems that there's a 'second chance' in the judgments.

Spurgeon is a perfect example why Trinitarians won't come clean. But won't go there.

The issue with Trinity is more than the doctrine itself, it's about upholding the reputation of thousands of highly respected theologians. E.W Bullinger and T.D. Jakes are perfect examples. Trinitarians did everything they could to destroy the character and reputation after T.D. Jakes came OUT of the Trinitarian closet. They did everything they could to destroy the man. They didn't want a popular televangelist exposing their Trinitarian foolishness. So, he conceded because he knew that if he didn't the badmouthing would continue, and his reputation destroyed. The cash cow gone.

E.W. Bullinger was the secretary of the Trinitarian Society. On his death bed he revealed his rejection of trinity. He knew that had he disclosed his rejection of Trinity beforehand; his works would never have been published.

Very few big shots like MacArthur and the like admit making mistakes. Christians have trouble admitting mistakes and usually their mistakes are acquired from listening to these 'big shots'. Like you listening to Spurgeon. If the 'big shots' were to admit Trinity is ONE BIG MISTAKE, that would destroy the authority, legitimacy and reputation of thousands of well-respected influential Trinitarian authors!

The crux of the Trinitarian matter basically revolves around the nonsense of a fabricated hypostatic Union - AKA the two natures. That's really the only answer Trinitarians have.

In the 20 or so years I've debated this, NOT ONE person has ever proved the Hypostatic Union!

These things drive good people OUT of Christianity and people looking in want nothing to do with us.

What does my Bible mean when it says for the wages of sin is death and when sin is full grown we die? Does this mean if we continue without the atonement of Christ or for all of us. For example a Christian gets murdered. Was it sin of this cause or dying for are faith as a mortar? Can't wrap my head around it and I'm confused.

God loves us all, yes death from the first Adam came as real, death to all
Life from Father God in risen Son came as the second Adam to give new life free of charge or having to do anything, to be given it John3:16-18 Eph, 1-3

Once given it, who can refuse to do the same done work of Son in love and mercy to all? Anyone, once given it and stand in belief to it?
Love of God overcame evil, defeated evil, it is completed in Son for us all to either believe he is risen from the dead and be set free, or continue work at it to do it and never be perfect trying to do it, ever.

That's not what it says in my Strongs concordance . I don't think metaphor is good enough in a translation , the word literally means to utterly destroy , metaphors r not translations , they r man made interpretations .

There is a Barna survey where 1,000 believers were asked if they believe in Trinity. Only 16% said they did!

One thing I do know for sure is that , God is very very merciful , so , I don't judge those that I believe to b in error too harshly , if God can forgive them then I must do so also .
