Thanks for attempting to explain. However, it's all Greek to me. lol

I rely upon the definitions provided in the Strong's.

According to Our Lord Jesus here is a sign of the false Christ.
He looks like Jesus with Two Horns like a Lamb.
REVELATION 13:11
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

If he looks Jesus, how do we distinguish him?

If he can't walk on water and turn water into wine then he is not Jesus.

Well Jeremiah 31,34 is speaking from a future time with a new covenant. So you should not take verses out of the context.
Present their is no only living human who can claim that he knows fully God. We know from him what he has revealed in his word. Not more.

The Holy Spirit reveals everything to us including what is written in the scripture.

The Holy Spirit teaches and illumines. Jesus told His disciples that the Spirit would teach them all things (John, 14:26). In John 16:13, Jesus told them that the Spirit would guide them into all truth. In Ephesians 1:16-19, Paul explains how the Spirit can illumine and enlighten.

The Lord Jesus see those double minded man
Unfortunately he shall receive (Truth) nothing from the Lord
JAMES 1:5-8
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

But a double minded man is not a false prophet.

The rise of Islam is intrinsically linked with the Prophet Muhammad, believed by Muslims to be the last
in a long line of prophets that includes Moses and Jesus.

Now that's a false prophet.

You have a right to your opinion. However, there is no scripture confirming to whom God is referring.

It’s not my opinion! Lol. It’s what the Scripture states, but you’re not willing to accept it.
When you wrest the verses to conform to your man-made doctrines, you will have problems and misunderstandings, because things won’t fit.

To be rejected at all cost!

The test you invented? Your tests are irrelevant. Grow up.

It is Lord Jesus who instructed to conduct a test.
Unfortunately you failed. Those who passed are those who know who God the Father is.
1 JOHN 4:1
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Yes, John tells his Christian readers to try (test) the spirits. But it is the spirits that are to be tested. It is not a test which Christians either pass or fail.

If the person fails to give you the right answer, you don't listen to them because they don’t have the Spirit of God.

That’s it right there. Thread over

So what do you do with someone who ignores you “because you don’t give the right answer” when the problem is that they are looking for the wrong answer?

It's become too apparent to me that people are only looking for submittance to their rule. My 3yo grandgirl inspired the realization of this.

The New testament talks a lot about “doctrine.” I believe this is the answer to how we can tell who is a false teacher.

1Tim. 4:1- In the “latter” days—that’s right now; WE are living in the “last days,” Paul says “some will depart from the faith giving heed to deceiving spirits and DOCTRINES of demons.” Then he gives some examples of the kind of false doctrines he is talking about. He says some will “forbid you to marry ( V. 3) and command you not to eat certain foods which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who KNOW AND BELIEVE THE TRUTH.”
Verse 6- “If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good DOCTRINE which YOU HAVE CAREFULLY FOLLOWED.”
Verse 13- “Til I come, GIVE ATTENTION to reading, to exhortation, to DOCTRINE.”
Verse 16-“Take heed to yourself and to the DOCTRINE, continue in them, For in doing this you will both save yourself and those who hear you.

2 Tim. 3:10-“But you have CAREFULLY followed my DOCTRINE. But you must continue in the things you have learned and been assured of; and that from childhood you have known the holy SCRIPTURES which can make you wise for salvation…”. “All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for DOCTRINE…”

2 John 9 warns us if we do not “stay” (abide) in the DOCTRINE. Of Christ, we do not have God.

we are to be able by SOUND DOCTRINE to exhort, and convict those who contradict God. Titus 1:9

“Do not be carried about by various and strange doctrines…” Hebrews 13:9.

“Do not believe every spirit, but TEST THE SPIRITS whether they be of God because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

I believe the Bible is clear, we should learn and know the scriptures so that we can tell when a teacher is teaching a FALSE DOCTRINE. If he is, then that person is a false teacher.

I have sometimes difficulties to take verses which are given to a certain group of people in a special time for a special purpose to all christians. So John 14:26.
And it wonders me also that we find so much different meanings and understandings from the scripure among Christians.

Lots of interpretations of the New testament.

I have seen many during my time on CF.

I guess it's all part of the stupid game.

As long as your faith in Jesus is growing and your love of your fellow Christians is too.

Then your heaven bound.

Don't listen to the babbling theologians, focus, focus, on Jesus.
