No, he's within his lawful rights to express that opinion.
I didn't say he broke the law; I was saying it crossed a moral line. In fact, it's arguably more immoral (biblically) to suggest using the government to lawfully murder people than it is to suggest the commission of an unlawful murder.

They all crossed a moral line when they started working in the lying news media industry rolleyes3.gif

Worthy news.

"Following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, churches across America reported surging attendance, with congregations overflowing just days after his death."

Not when the majority of his messaging is political talk and very little Gospel is being shared.

He was not a Christian minister and his organization is not a gospel ministry

I politely disagree. I say that because I thought his work was mostly political too. But the more I listened to what he said, and heard the testimony of people close to him over this past week, I believe he is a martyr for the Gospel.

Let's put into context what he was talking about and why he said it.

Mr. Kilmeade made the comments Wednesday on “Fox & Friends” during a discussion about the deadly stabbing in Charlotte, N.C., of a 23-year-old woman who was a refugee from Ukraine. The authorities arrested Decarlos Brown Jr. and charged him with first degree murder in the case, describing him as mentally ill and homeless.

Mr. Kilmeade was discussing the murder on air with his co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt when Mr. Jones said that homeless people who did not accept help in the form of resources funded by public money should “be locked up in jail.”

“Or involuntary lethal injection, or something,” Mr. Kilmeade said. “Just kill ’em.”

So a little research shows that this entire family is criminal. From the father on down. The horrifying attack we all saw on an innocent young woman by a man with a laundry list of criminal behavior, surely makes one angry. I totally believe he should be put to death for it. Now in Kilmeade's comment had he said "put him to death" the left would have still screamed but he'd have gotten in less trouble. If you're mentally ill and cannot stay on your meds or care for yourself you should be put in a place that can care for your needs. But if you are a danger to society that's a different issue. There is no way this man should have been free to walk the streets. I doubt he'll get the death penalty, but he should. In context I believe that's what Kilmeade meant.

This is one way we know the kilemead guy does not have the Holy Spirit.
(Numerous hosts on Fox claim to be Christians, not sure if this guy does or not)

The Holy Spirit would never lead someone to say we should kill poor homeless people

Does the Holy Spirit abide in people who have not accepted Christ? Actually, Kilmeade never said lets kill poor homeless people

Not sure what it is you are attempting to say or portray, but you are not making any kind of succint point here or proving anything tangible.

I am already aware of the context, and read his apology. Like you I believe it was merely a conversational blunder; which is a human mistake- but it's a pretty bad blunder, especially since we have people in government pushing suicide. It definitely merited the call for clarification.

We should not seek revenge.

Enforcing the law is not personal revenge, though. It's 100% in line with the Bible. If the laws calls for the death penalty for murder, that is supported by God Himself -

Rom 13:1 Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. 3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; 4 for it is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a servant of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.

1 Pet 2:13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.

No one should be allowed to murder and get off easy. Murder is a CHOICE and consequences must happen. As long as there is undeniable evidence, I support any state with the death penalty. A life sentence can be reduced and the criminal gets out early to murder someone else.

That's wonderful that some are getting saved.

That doesn't mean a political commentator who occasionally threw in a few blurbs about Jesus receives a martyrs reward.

If you'd like to make a case from scripture that Christians are called of God to put politics first and speak about politics way more than they speak about the Gospel... I'd be happy to taker a look at what you come up with.

Actually, Kilmeade never said lets kill poor homeless people

Actually he said exactly that.

What do you think the gospel is? 1Cor15 on broken record? The Apostles didn't do that, and the Bible doesn't look like that. 90% of what people call "politics" has some sort of biblical guiding principle that should be followed; and teaching those things (you know like Jesus taught his disciples) is definitely a ministry.
