even if we were to see different reckonings of time in scripture ((which we do, the number of watches in a night, Jewish 3 and Roman 4)), when God speaks, there is no reason to think that God keeps a schedule as anything other than what He put in His law - - so when the Psalm ((two continue the example)) speaks of a thousand years being equal to a watch i the night, this is 4 hours, not 3.

put it this way, why would Israeli King David be speaking in terms of Roman military habits 2k years before Rome even existed?

asking the right questions gets us a long way on the path of understanding :)

what fruit was on the tree, and whether he was born in the evening or the morning, is in scripture.

we are supposed to study it, and use our minds to ponder it. study doesn't mean memorizing a few facts.

God is omniscient and omnipotent - - how complex do you think His Word is?

1) The fruit name was not given, which means you move on.

2) His birth time doesn’t matter. If you think it does, you’re clearly missing the point. There are clearly more important things to ponder than birth time (I don’t even remember my own kids’ birth times! What a loony thought!)

3) As for studying, who are you to judge? I can say the same for you! Birth times?! Really, there are more important things to read about!!

Do you know anything about salvation??

he fruit name was not given

what is the only fruit in all of scripture to have been cursed?
what's the first specific fruit to be mentioned in scripture, and when? in what context?

bonus points: what did Cain offer? specifically?

i do understand that your point is we are all stupid and should stick to drinking milk.

i do not agree that this is the message of scripture.

ok i do agree with the first part: we are all stupid.

but the message of the infinite Word is not that we should remain that way.

You can’t just make up stuff by filling in the blanks! Yes, He is infinite, but He gives us what He wants us to know; we shouldn’t go beyond it.

Have you read Rev. 22? He gives us a warning:

“For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

simple question:

what is the first fruit mentioned by name in the most infinitely complex book in the history of the universe, and why?

if you're not asking questions, you're not learning.

if you can't answer questions, you don't know anything, and you should start asking questions.

You’re are being vague. Are you talking about Gen.? What?
The fruit off the tree of knowledge of good and evil?

You really crossed a line here. Posthuman is one of the most well-respected members on this board. He happens to have a very good understanding of salvation and is probably capable of teaching seminary-level classes on the subject. Disagreement on a tertiary matter doesn't give you cause to make asinine assumptions about others.

But it was you who brought the matter up. Why can't you just provide bible references for the time of day or night Jesus was born?

Let see if this will help that it should be written before we believe.

God the Father made a promised to Moses.
God the Father said he will bring them in Canaan (Promised Land) where milk & honey is flowing.
EXODUS 3:17
17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

As long as they are delighted to the Lord, he will bring them in the promised land.
NUMBERS 14:8
8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

By reading the story of Moses.
Did Moses reached Canaan as a promised of God to him?

Tree #2: TREE OF LIFE
It is also free to eat this fruit.
By eating this fruit Life can be achieved.

God is not referring to our physical life because we are physically alive already.
But since all of us, in our time we will all die.
Therefore By eating this fruit we will achieve the Eternal Life.

To achieve Eternal Life we must follow Jesus as he commanded to the young ruler in Luke 18:22
Jesus claimed in John 14:6 I am the truth.
Therefore: By following Jesus is following the truth.
By following the truth will achieve Eternal Life.

According to Lord Jesus there are 2 witnesses to the truth.
That is Jesus as the Son of the living God and God the Father.
If Jesus bear witness for himself it is not true (1st witness).
God the Father witness what Jesus witnesses is the truth (2nd witness)
JOHN 5:31-32
31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

By believing the 2 witnesses of the truth will achieve the Eternal Life.

Here are the two examples of 2 witnesses in which the 1st witness statement is not true.
And the 2nd statement of the 2nd witness based on 1st witness statement is the truth.

1st Example:

DESTROY THIS TEMPLE.
JOHN 2:19
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

1st witness is the Literal temple in which man's understand (Not True)
JOHN 2:17 & 20
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

2nd Witness based on the statement of 1st Witness Temple (Truth)
JOHN 2:21-22
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

2nd Example:

LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES and the Sadducees.
MATTHEW 16:6
6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

1st Witness is the leaven that we mix to the bread (Not True)
MATTHEW 16:7
7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

2nd Witness based on the statement of 1st Witness Leaven means Wrong Doctrine (Truth)
MATTHEW 16:8-12
8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Because the Apostles of Christ forgot that Jesus is Speaking in Parables (Mark 4:34) serve as the 1st witness only. So he reminded them and said "O YE OF LITTLE FAITH"!

This is what God the Father said (Psalms 78:2 & Ezekiel 20:49) that he is speaking in Parables.
1st Witness serve as Parables because it is not True yet.

But the 2nd witness who witnesses what the 1st witness statement or the revelation of God in his parable words is the Truth.

Sorry, but I just don't see how what you have written about Moses relates to the question of whether Jesus was born during the daytie or at night. Please explain what you mean.
