Nope, you said, that you got the answer from God. So what is his answer? It should be easy for you to tell.

God knows what is in the heart of man.
If you don't have the patience to wait as symbol of humbleness in the eyes of God, even I will tell the answer right now you never believe. It will become useless.

Let us learned what happened when Our Lord Jesus said in John Chapter 2. He said destroy this temple.
JOHN 2:19
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

This is in John chapter 2, so it happened when Jesus just about starting his 3 years of ministry.

Jesus disciples own understanding is he is referring to literal temple were they are.
JOHN 2:17
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

But the disciples belief that Jesus is Speaking in Parables as Jesus show to them in Mark 4:34

The meaning of the spiritual temple was just reveal to them when Jesus died on the cross and and in 3 days he rose again.
JOHN 2:22
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

The disciples waited for almost 3 years before they understand that Jesus is referring to his body as the Temple.
JOHN 2:21
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

Therefore: Those who have the patience to wait for God's revelation are considered the real believers of the scriptures as what the disciples did.

But in our situation, we will not wait that long. I hope you are not in a hurry with the answer because God the Father knows when is the best time for you to hear the answer so you will believe in him.

why that particular fruit was forbidden, or why He put a tree of death in the garden with the tree of life?

Upon reading all comments, ideas and questions in this thread.

This is the best question I ever read. With that let me bolden the letters.
why that particular fruit was forbidden, or why He put a tree of death in the garden with the tree of life?

Because if we are serious to learn from God, this kind of question is a symbol of humbleness in the eyes of God.
As if we are admitting to God the Father that when it comes to the meaning to the words of God, we are like a babes (Matthew 18:3) that we know nothing and we beg for his Mercy to reveal the answer to the question Why.

Sorry man, your are not able to give me the answer. Why? Maby you claimed something what you dont got? God gave you not the answer. Otherwise you would not talk around the hot pie.

If we consider a day to God is equivalent of thousand years to a man.
I think even Adam & Eve did not eat the forbidden fruit they still die on that day.
Sorry, but are you really saying that if Adam and Eve hadn't eaten the forbidden fruit, they would still have died on that day? God told them them that in the day that they ate of it, they would die.

God gave his chosen a discernment if the person who ask question is seeking truth answer or not.

Do you believe that we are to share the truths that we learn from Him with others, or keep them to ourselves?

i do not think they would have died if they had not sinned. death entered the world through sin, and sin through one man, Adam our forefather, in whose loins we were.

what would have happened had Adam abandoned his wife, instead of joining her?

God gave his chosen a discernment if the person who ask question is seeking truth answer or not.

That will have its limits.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

The more ignorant one is of sound doctrine?
Doctrine that he can not think without proper teaching from a competent anointed teacher?
The more he can be deceived by a counterfeit spirit.
That is why we see so many dumb ideas being passed along dogmatically.
"His thoughts are not our thoughts."
Evil spirits so inclined will know our psychological profile, and will feed us thoughts that will possibly seem right to us.

There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way of death.

Proverbs 14:12

The only protection we can have will be praying that God leads us to sound doctrinal teaching for every area of our life.

God has provided for those who are genuine in their desire.

Grace and peace.
For those who have ears to hear.....

If they did not sin, they would have retained their access to the Tree of Life.
For they would have been able to keep eating from that tree, and would have lived forever.

That is why God needed to cut them off from the tree of Life.

God gave his chosen a discernment if the person who ask question is seeking truth answer or not.

What you mean man? You claim God gave you an answer to your question. And then he said dont tell this to others. They have to ask for themselfes.?
Why you boasting that God gave you a specific answer to your question. But you are not willing to share this answer?
Will you make us clear how specific and worthy you are that God give to you an answer which he not gave to all other Christians?
Well then keep your mysterie. I am convinced that God revealed what we as his children must know in His written word.

I sincerely believe that would've been a mistake because Eve wasn't a run of
the mill girl, rather, she was custom fit, i.e. tailor-made especially for Adam.
(Gen 2:18)

instead of joining her?

According to Rom 5:12-21 Eve wasn't the trigger mechanism in the forbidden fruit
incident, so Adam could've chalked up her boo-boo to human error and they both
could've continued right on as usual just as naked and unashamed as before.

i agree it's clear, sin would not have entered the world if he had not joined her, because sin entered the world through him.

would God have provided him a new wife?
He had said, it is not good that the man should be alone.

Well; I really don't think that's how marriage is supposed to work. And
besides, in God's estimation, Eve was already the perfect girl for Adam.
_

she wasn't Eve yet; her name was Woman ;)

what i mean is, what things did Adam have to consider - when she spoke to him, after she had eaten, he had a choice to make, and he wasn't deceived. death was in her, but not in him. he chose to listen to her and join her in sin-death.

so he must have thought, what if he doesn't do that? what would have happened? then his wife dies alone, and he lives alone. or at least, he lives without her. or did he think God might forgive her?

but yes as you said, she was created perfectly for him. not easy to leave her behind!

could he have thought she had a better chance of God forgiving her, if he also took on the need to be forgiven?

Since Adam remained sinless?

It is feasible that the Lord could have Adam die for her sin and then resurrect him.

But, why speculate about what could have been?

to understand why Adam did what he did, how he was a type of Christ

a lot of people seem to think of him as being right there next to Woman while she's struggling with Satan, just drooling i guess and staring at his feet, then going 'duh ok' while she hands him some of the fruit..

or maybe more accurately a lot of people just don't think about what happened here very much at all.

bit i see this as enormously more complex, and Adam having understood it fully and making a very carefully calculated - but still wrong - decision. a shadow of what Christ did for His Bride the Church.

Well then keep your mysterie. I am convinced that God revealed what we as his children must know in His written word.

As I've learned from God.
Let me repeat it once more.

Since God the Father has the foreknowledge, he knows when is the best time to reveal the answer in your question.
If it is not the best time, even I will tell the answer upfront as you keep requesting, the answer will become useless.

I can prove that in your reaction when I share what God the Father answer the question Why the Fruit is Forbidden.

As I mentioned before I still share the answer for those other readers in this thread.

Let God do it in his way and not in your way.

We do not have to know why Adam did what he did.

how is he a type of Christ?

think you can fully understand within a human lifetime?

we 'need' to know very little, but we could spend 100 years on any single verse, without exhausting the meaning in it.

so we have a lil discussion forum :)
