Since one does not believe or reject, he will not be given life(regeneration) if one does believe in Christ then he is given life (regeneration). Now what I am seeing from you is to divert ones attention to calling and does not refute in in anyway that regeneration is the result of one's faith. I failed to see that in your post. Btw, if ever ypu make a quote of scripture or cite verses , i would suggest to put in a clear and simple font for us to follow if you will. Well, the bible says " he magnify his word above..." that is when God's word is magnified is sure it is vivid or clear. Your presebtation of your memes is not clear type and often distract attention because what is magnified is the picture of a woman,, with respect, idk, if it is your cartoon photo. If you may do it in a simpler way. Thanks
Divert one's attention to calling? Please stop with your false accusations. Coming to believe involves a multi-faceted process that includes being called out of the world, hearing the Gospel, believing in Jesus as the Son of God and Savior, repenting of sin, confessing faith in Christ, and experiencing a transformed life having been made alive in Christ. People without the Spirit cannot receive the things of the Spirit so that is what must come first despite the ridiculous claims of those who teach that the unregenerated person manufactures their own faith and then receives the Spirit. Since hearing is paramount, it cannot be discounted. What does the unregenerated person hear when the gospel is preached? Scripture says it is foolishness to them (FWers contradict and outright deny this). Jesus even says not all hear (FWers contradict and outright deny this). Scripture says the whole world is under the power and influence of Satan, which is another reason Christians should be grateful for being called out of the world. Too bizarre that it gets mocked by people who claim to be Christians. The gospel is hid to those perishing - the lost (FWers contradict and outright deny this). The unregenerated person is blinded by the god of this age. They can neither receive nor comprehend the spiritual things of God (FWers contradict and outright deny this). They are opposed to the spiritual things of God. They are lovers of darkness, slaves to sin, suppressing the truth in unrighteousness with a mind that is hostile to God and a heart that needs replacing. The person refusing to come into the light is the person free willers claim decides to believe.... with that incurably wicked heart which he is powerless to change. Jesus said that a bad tree cannot bring forth good fruit, and there are none good (FWers contradict and outright deny this). What free willers proclaim is not what the Bible teaches of the unregenerated person. The unregenerated person, not being indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God, has a mind set on the flesh which serves the law of sin and brings forth fruit unto death, not life (FWers contradict and outright deny this). The Bible says they cannot receive the Spirit of truth, and they are incapable of submitting to God (FWers not only contradict and outright deny this, it is what they teach and then say they don't). FWers refuse to harmonize these many truths to conform with what the Bible teaches because they are too attached to their false doctrine.

The panels have the text under them, though I make it white. It is easy enough to make visible
if you cannot read what is on any panel. I have close to a thousand fonts to choose from and
many are not suitable for one reason or another but I do take care in selecting each one.
Sometimes the text is small because there are so very many Scriptures supporting my view.
Meanwhile you have zero verses articulating free will. Being able to choose what colour of
socks to wear or what to have for lunch has no bearing on the eternal fate of one's soul
and should not in any way be used to overturn what Scripture says of humanity.

It establishes a pattern for how He chooses those who a will serve Him for His purpose, not the act of faith in receiving eternal life.

And the phrase "not by the will of men" was completely dealt with in a past post by several of us and absolutely does not support Unconditional Election.
I always so enjoy how you try to circle back, great strategy there Cameron!!
You haven't refuted anything biblically.

"I'm rubber, you're glue; whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you".

Thats all you've got? Sad.

For you man exalters who dearly love to glorify yourselves it is very sad.

And while on the subject of man (Adam) exalters: Have you unearthed that secret and very well hidden bible passage that supports your allegation that Adam was this great man of faith?

There is no "Doctrines of Grace" in the calvies repertoire.

Just darkness and Satans unlimited power to control mankind. The Lord Jesus Christ doesn't stand a chance to shine His light on Satans supreme power over mankind.

But there are O Ignorant One. Those are the five doctrines you FWers vehemently hate due to all the pride in your heart. And since I'm a believer in the efficacy of God's saving grace, the red bolded statement you made is beyond absurd. You must be feeling desperate today.

Last I heard, Jesus said the gates of hell are impotent against Him building His church.

And you keep ignoring that the Spirit is in the world convincing people of righteousness, sin and judgement. Jn.16:8 How can He do that? Because the word of God is not only spiritual but is also moral and even physical (the Word became flesh)

The natural man can know right from wrong. Even criminals know they are doing wrong and they will be judged if seen which, is why they hide their crimes.

You're thinking is so shallow which is why it dries up the moment God applies the fire.

Knowing right from wrong is one thing. And the reason why man knows this is because he's a moral being made in God's image, with a conscience and who intuitively knows the Law of God, so that every man is without excuse! But embracing gospel truth is quite another matter, since men find all manner of excuses to NOT believe. See Rom 1 and Lk 14 the Parable of the Banquet. Men have no love for God's truth -- even the truth they know about themselves.

yes ... mankind is "supposed to be walking according to His choices" ... but much of mankind rejects what they are "supposed to do" because they prefer to serve their own selfish interests rather than walk in the ways of God.

I have shared the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with people and some have stated the Christian life was not for them because there's no "fun" ... when the "fun" they experience is not really "fun" when compared with the joy found in close proximity to God ...

Mark 8:34-38 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

God tells us over and over in His Word that the life of the believer is not all sunshine and rainbows ... the believer will experience times of reproach, temptation, testing, affliction, tribulation ... however, the believer is empowered to withstand and we have great and precious promises to lay hold of which help us remain strong in faith and overcome those times of trying ...

2 Peter 1:2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
.

"Empowered" by what and whom? And is that empowerment ineffectual?

Agreed, it wasn't for anyone's salvation but who He chose to build a nation.

God does not save the Elect, He elects the saved. :D
You got the cart before the horse buddy!

God DOES save the elect.
If God elects the saved, then the elect are ELECTING THEMSELVES and God is merely reacting to what they do.

God is the first cause, the first mover. He has the freedom. NOT YOU!

I really like how you explained this, Pilgrim. We as a race are "caught between good and evil," and all we have to do is turn on the news to see that blend of sin and sanctity that seems to be amplifying at an accelerated rate.

The choice was ours. God gave us that choice and made it very clear that the forbidden fruit was off limits, period. We chose to disobey His word. That's on us, not God, and unfortunately we as a race continue to eat from that tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the results are crystal clear.
Amen the tree of the knowledge of good and evil v the tree of life the gospel

Reminder to Cameron: >>> chooses for SERVICE. (y)

And your point is....??? Wasn't Israel chosen by God to serve Him? Wasn't Jesus chosen by God to serve Him? And weren't the apostles chosen by God to serve Him? And isn't the Church chosen by God to serve Him?

He foreknew there would be believers - more specifically "those (plural - the men) who love Him" Rom8:28 - these (plural) are the whom as I identified.

Specific individuals is another discussion.

Yeah...He [fore]knew all his elect by name in eternity and predestined them to be saved. Everyone He predetermined to give to Jesus is destined to come to Jesus in space and time.

God does not save the Elect, He elects the saved. :D

In other words....God elects those who first elected him. I guess sinners also knew God first and loved Him first, as well?

But it does explain how God chooses.

You TULIP Guys are stuck in one point of doctrine.
Why?
It is your attention getter.

When you go before the Lord, he will be looking if you have several thousand doctrines living through you.

No Lord! Just that One! The One that you did all my thinking for me!
I could not decide anything freely for myself!

Do you know how stupid that sounds?

Yeah...He [fore]knew all his elect by name in eternity and predestined them to be saved. Everyone He predetermined to give to Jesus is destined to come to Jesus in space and time.
Now now, He knew THOSE men just not which ones specifically.

Obviously God is not omniscient in studier's view. Another open theist?

I would not be surprised.
