She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in French she was on the academic path to become a teacher as that was her life's mission when she was younger. She did earn her teaching certificate and was on the board of Trustees for Sacred Heart University from 2004-2017 and went back to being on the board after the first Trump admin.
Since the Sec of Education is only an advisor to the President since all curriculum decisions are made at the local level and not federal. The Sec of education serves to make sure that federal law is followed such as Title IX ensuring compliance to federal law.
So she does have experience in the relevant field. So what more would you say she lacks according to you?

Oh okay if that be the case then I guess we don't have to fund a third of their outrageous budget anymore. Also just so you know Texas is the number 3 most subsidized state, but indeed at least they manage themselves well so there is some justification for them.
China also has a big economy. The reason they call it commiefornia is because everyone is poor. If you look at the official poverty rates it would seem California is average, but California has one of the highest cost of living if not the highest.
So they calculate supplemental poverty rates by adjusting for cost of living. When you do that 15.4% of Californians are living in poverty, the highest rate in the nation.
That is not fair, Texas is a donor state. Most states get back more from the Federal government than they pay in, there are ten states that are donor states meaning they get back less than they pay in taxes.

Lol! I will say I lived for a good bit in the Swamp, especially Maryland. If you ever participated in shooting off the fireworks for July 4th in Annapolis anywhere from the mid-2000s to about 2021, then we were actually fairly close to eachother, I was on a boat in the Bay watching.
