No, that is not true. If you speak the truth and you can prove it is the truth the fact that it "caused some people damages" is not defamation and you cannot sue someone for speaking the truth. If you could sue people for speaking the truth that caused you damage you could sue every witness in a criminal trial.

A defamation lawsuit needs two things. One you need to prove in court that the person lied and two you need to prove in court that the person's lies cause you damages.
Both of these were proven in the Alex Jones lawsuit

That's old news, but now we are seeing the same principle can be applied to Biden's administration (the autopen scandal) and to the pardons, and to the vaccine mandate, and to so many crimes. Thank the Lord for the Alex Jones trial because it will be a good precedent to determine how much the damages should be.

I disagree. Really most of the participants are already known. I think Trump doesn't want perpetual blood and reprisal, I agree with him too. Epstein is dead, Trump is cleared and was the informant, the notable partygoers are also pretty publicly known at this point. For a certainty anyone that commits fornication deserve to be put to death, these women aren't so innocent either themselves, prostitutes or just willful volunteers who now just want money and see an opportunity for another cash grab. I think it is sufficient that the ringleader is dead and an example made out of him so that those involved to the lesser degrees are put on a short leash like Amnon, but we don't want a perpetual blood cycle to start for that is also not wise and it is not fair for the innumerable fornicators on the left and on the right that hate eachother yet fornicate with eachother constantly to ruin the whole country for the virgins and the righteous monogamists.

"Perpetual blood and reprisal" is that what you call justice? We have hundreds of pedophiles being picked up and prosecuted, because they are criminals. What is the difference other than the fact that the people on the Epstein list are rich and powerful?

Justice without mercy becomes a bloodbath. Mercy without justice becomes a license to sin. It is a hard thing indeed. Though again most the names are already pretty well known, especially if they're rich and famous. Should we have the CIA whack them all like Epstein? For that matter anyone that has slept with more than person is guilty of the same exact sin as Epstein and guilty of the exact penalty, should I throw away the kingdom God has given me to basically bloodbath like 70% of the society? There is another way, narrow as it might be, but if we can both show mercy and have them value that mercy shown that a real society wide repentance and change could happen and we can put away the turmoil that our generation and our parents generation have caused since their rebellion in the 1960s.

You cannot compare fornication between two consenting adults with what happened on Epstein Island which was slavery of children, held against their will in order to be sex slaves.

The mercy that has been extended is that they can become witnesses for the prosecution, this slow roll to prosecution is giving many an opportunity to come forward and confess and do the works worthy of repentance.

However, even someone who confesses does not get a free pass, they will also be convicted, they will also have a felony on their record. The mercy comes with a potentially lighter sentence for being a cooperating witness and might even get a safer prison to fulfill their sentence.

They weren't held against their will, they were prostitutes, hate to break the news to you about how young the generations of the harlots start these days, but it is what it is. It's still bad and still a sin, but it's not so one-sided. Then there are the nitty gritty complications, it's an island so you have jurisdiction issues and you have of course a lot of foreign involvement too, those European "allies" they always insist we need to subsidize and protect and of course Israel.

This is why I do like your point of view and comments genuinely though, it does go into the deeps of the issue. However this why we have to meld accountability and justice with mercy here so that mercy is actually valued. I have not said they'll go to Heaven, but Epstein is already died in such a manner that it will be infamous for a while and is a sign to all those involved, again much of which is already frankly well known, to see not to take clemency too lightly now. They can be like Amnon, be on a very shortleash in order to maintain order and have deferrment from being immediately deported to Hell, who knows maybe in their borrowed time they'll repent, and if not well Absalom whom is equally as sinful might even still get their blood in the end of it all.

If that is their defense then what is the big deal, it isn't like we don't all know these people go to prostitutes. How could they be blackmailed with that? Why do they have to go to this island when prostitution is legal in many places on earth?

No, this was slavery, abuse, and human trafficking. If they want to claim the prostitutes were on that island of their own free will and they were paid a wage and not treated like slaves, then make that their defense. But let the kids who were held there also get a chance to testify, that is why we have trials, to find out the truth.

As far as I am concerned I'm not willing for anyone who refuses to allow a trial to tell me what the truth is. If in fact this was the case that they were all consenting adults then why was Epstein in prison? Epstein island is not in US jurisdiction. What crime did he commit? There is no international law banning prostitution. The crime was human trafficking of children and then using the video tapes of these people to blackmail them, hence it was a "honey pot".

One of the few things that Democrats and Republicans were united on was rounding up everyone involved in Epstein's shenanigans. I didn't trust the machine Democrats to actually go after the people on the list or even let the people on the list be made known. I (naively?) believed Trump would do what he said and prosecute these sick degenerates... but now he is saying the Epstein list is a hoax?

I know most people here love Trump, but what am I missing here? Was the list a hoax the entire time? Did I buy it hook, line, and sinker? Should I not care about the people involved because Epstein is dead?

I think it is too early to judge. I am more than happy to believe they are still gathering data, flipping witnesses, and building a case that will be rock solid. However, until they actually prosecute and convict people on this list I will simply look to the Lord to judge. I'm not going to claim this is some 4d chess, that is for historians to do a decade from now. At present I am simply praying for the Lord's will to be done and for the Kingdom to come.

They are prostitutes, Ghislaine Maxwell was their madame infamously, that's why she is in prison. It's not much of a defense I agree personally, but it is what it is at the same time. What difference is there in Epstein Island and the SNL After Party and Diddy and R Kelly? All the same stuff,not even just in strict principle of the sexual sins and the Law, but even same basic claim, young underage sluts going and partying with these generations of celebrities, like yea, it's bad, but I think they volunteered for it frankly.. Heck that's another layer of the complications, the prostitutes of Epstein island are mostly foreigners, European whores, compare this to some of the newer cases where it's Americans involved, how much jurisdiction do we really have? Yet these young sluts though they're not so innocent, indeed they dont' really know the fullness of what they're doing and get in over their head, and then are they often trapped indeed and you do pity them I feel that too. Though notice they themselves are not calling for blood and vengeance like the pundits are, they want more money though for certainty, and frankly let it be given unto them.

The real spark of the recent scandalousness of it and how it is politically now a firestorm really boils down to this though, the extrajudicial justice has already been done, Epstein is dead. I mean what is it everyone is baying for, what more can be given? Whole lists and photos and names are known publicly already, the principle architects of it are dead or in prison, but it is of course Epstein's death that little splinter in our minds that has so many quetions around it left unanswered. Some say he killed himself, some say the CIA killed him (I have believed this and said it on this forum months ago), some say Hillary Clinton dispatched him, and some say it was Trump himself that literally held the noose. There's 3 minutes of footage missing, so by the latest evidence nothing can be without a question of a doubt ruled out. Bondi has flubbed this I think in presentation and failed to satisfy the public indeed poltiically, but not so badly to bay for her resignation I think, but let her be on eggshells now.
