Blind and deaf actually...

What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, 8 as it is written:
Priase God for the 1948
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that could not see
and ears that could not hear,
to this very day.”
Right and God has given many others a spirit of stupor and blinded eyes of hate. Praise God for the 1948 Declaration for the Jews to have their homeland back, given by God. The enemy tried taking them out with many wars against them, but God's hand made sure they survived, and will continue to do so. What's the gripe about unsaved Jews, hell isn't biased.

It's quite an interesting conundrum that the Jews are "Jewy" enough to all be guilty of killing Christ in perpetuity, never to be forgiven. They're "Jewy" enough for pogroms and blood liables. And they are "Jewy" enough to be slaughtered by Hitler and his minions. But they aren't "Jewy" enough to inherit their homeland and have a safe place to live in freedom. Funny how that goes.

Only the non acceptance of the Messiah from your list above applies to Covenant Israel, the rest is worldly politics.

I've been here a long time and I have taken part in many discussions on Israel and the Jews. You will never see a time when I said they didn't need Christ or that there is any other way of salvation for the Jews. I'll say that loudly enough that HisH can hear it!
I have bad news for you, seems you can now be listed as being among the you know :censored: group.

I guess as a pro-life Orthodox Jew, I must be an anti-Semite!

Yes, but not all liberals think they are God's chosen people for all eternity

The Jewish people more than most understand the profound weight and the burden of falling short before God. They are not a people who claim superiority but rather bear the heavy responsibility of being chosen not for their own glory, but for the sake of all humanity. Do you think Jesus could have walked among any other people with how righteous he was? things may have change but there was a reason Jesus preached to the Israelite first.

I see no evidence for modern day Israel being one and the same as Covenant Israel in the OT.
The era of a particular ethno-religious exceptional chosen people to bring about the promised Messiah has been completed.

The issue of the land is only a political, worldly discussion has nothing to do with scripture, if it did then the Messiah has not come.

He preached to them first because He had worked with them throughout the centuries, they had the scripture and should have figured it out, but they did not.

Jesus was chosen for the sake of all humanity and only HIM!

And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”

You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, Yahweh, have become their God” (2 Samuel 7:23-24)
Paul explains that the gifts and calling (of Israel) by God are irrevocable. Even in unbelief, Israel as a nation remains elect - chosen and called by God for His purposes in history.
The New Jerusalem is the fulfillment of all God's promises and exemplifies His goodness. The Apostle John gives his final vision in Revelation of the Holy City for all those who believe in Jesus Christ and are covered by his blood to dwell with Him forever.

No one really has to defend Israel/Jews, God has it handled. God's son, a Rabbi, was sent to serve His purpose of offering salvation to all who believe on Him. Looks like believers will be living in The New Jerusalem✝✡🙌🙌🙌.
