I've heard of Lamb Chops, but I've never watched it. I was "too old" for it when it came out. I think back at that time I was probably watching MTV...admittedly, probably Beavis and Butthead
I think that came out in 1998. I remember that was the year I went to see Deep Impact at the theater. It wasn't the first movie I went to see at the theater, but it was the first movie I stayed awake all the way through. Does anyone else get sleepy at the movies? lol

The first movie I went to see was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990). I remember the movie starting and the next thing I knew everyone was leaving....I had slept through the movie 😴

That sounds like me with the Xfiles. Besides the movies and seasons, I also had a black coffee mug. When you poured hot coffee in it Scully and Mulder appeared lol.

I listened to AIC in the 90s. I dressed like them too. I still listen to them sometimes...and I still dress like them lol. The tshirt and shorts, I mean. I was never into fanny packs
It's funny, I was just talking to someone very dear to me from the Atlanta area. It was 96 there today too. I thought it'd be cooler in north GA.
The temps here weren't as warm today (high was 92), but the humidity has been high and expected to get higher. I've heard humidity is good for the skin. I keep telling myself that...you know, trying to stay positive lol.

I've been to the Ellijay area twice. Once was to visit friends. Another time was for sightseeing and to visit Amicalola Falls State Park in the fall, which was very lovely. Just a very scenic area.
Oh, I know about the Bee Gees. It's not my kind of music, but I used to work overnight with a lady who listened to that kind of music. Whenever they would come on the radio, I'd hit their high notes. Mind you, I'm the world's worst singer, but when I'm feelin' it I can hit high notes pretty well. Music and laughter makes a night of work go by faster 💃
